This person misses the information
But these 8 people are the ones affected!
Be At Rehearsal!• Band is a class, with a grade, and academic credit.
• Attendance is taken every rehearsal.
• We can’t teach you when you’re not there!
• You’re not the only one affected by your absence! If you’re not there, you don’t march.
• If you absolutely cannot attend or will be late, Slack your BLT/Mr. Vogel AND fill out: Request for an Excused Rehearsal Absence Google Form.
“UNDERSTUDY” Policy• Drill written for a specific number of students.• Almost every section will have “Alternates”• Students earn “drill spots” based on skills
assessment, personal growth & performance, and rehearsal/camp attendance.
• “Alternates/Shadows” are understudies, so they attend all Band activities and may be worked into the full performance as skills develop.
Band Camp July 25-29• Pine Summit Camp in Prescott• Get out of the heat• Learn drill for the show, perfect our

accommodations, food, staff, t-shirt.• Is required for a spot in the Fall show• Check in Meds - Sat. July 25, 7 AM• Chaperones needed
IF… THEN…• If…summer travel is not permitted by
district then… we will plan an at Ridge Band Camp 2:30-9:00 PM Monday thru Saturday the last two weeks of July
• If… we are not permitted to meet in person at all, we will continue Zoom meetings and video assignments until school starts back up
