We kiln-dry our timber to an optimal moisture content, which

keeps the wood in balance with atmospheric conditions, thereby

stabilising the timber and minimising natural movement.

Selected PAR Timber is laminated to improve strength

and stability, providing lengths of timber par excellence.

Working from left to right, fit shelves into grooves in the uprights. Remember that centre uprights form a common rest for two shelves.

Place back uprights flat on thefloor. Space according to shelf widths.Ensure the ends marked “bottom”are aligned.

Fit the front uprights onto theshelves. Ensure that all shelves and uprights are correctly aligned before securing through pilot holes withscrews provided.You may find it easier to drill or knock pilot holes into the shelves.

The Swartland story began back in 1951 with

Oupa Hanekom in the small town of Moorreesburg

– a few wheat fields north of Cape Town.

When his son, Oom Jurgens, took over the reins, he

introduced his personal philosophy of “continuous
