The majority of children have had their bikes here and have the transion from swim to bike prey well sorted. The weather looks to be fine so we are looking forward to a good day. Any help with transporng the 115 bikes to Pohara Camp would be appreciated and we plan to pack the bikes onto trailers at 10.30am. The day’s plan is 10.30am Load trailers with bikes 11.00 am Leave Motupipi for Pohara camp, line up bikes, morning tea, walk course 12 noon Races to start in following order 10yrs, 9 yrs, 8 yrs, 7yrs, 6yrs, 5 yrs 1.00pm Prizegiving 1.15 pm Lunch - Sausage sizzle available $2.00 – children to order lunch at school on Friday morning, extras will be available for adults to purchase. Children will need lunch, drink, sunhat, togs, towel, shoes / sandals (not jandals), t-shirt / rash vest for biking. If you wish to drop your child’s bike /scooter earlier at the camp, you may do so. There will be age signs for the placement of bikes, which will be set up early in the morning by the beach entry opposite the playground. Swimming Pool The pool temperature has started to drop down after this spell of rain and cooler weather. Class instructional swims have stopped, however the pool will still be open for afternoon swims in the 1.30 – 2.00pm break. The pool will close on the last day of term, which is Thursday 2 nd April. Keys can be returned to the office and a refund of $15 will be given. **FUNDRAISING—29TH MARCH** The Fundraising Committee will be catering for this years Mystery Bike Ride to be held on Sunday 29th March. We would appreciate any donations of the following - *fruit *baking *salad ingredients (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) *cheese *tins of beetroot *mayonnaise Thank you - any donations will be gratefully accepted and used to generate funds for the children. REMINDER: AGM to be held on FRIDAY 27th MARCH at 3.30pm in the staffroom. Come and share your ideas! POSTPONED Dr Paul Taylor’s Last Talk on

ASD in Golden Bay Dr Paul Taylor, an experienced paediatrician and author, specialising in Autistic Spectrum Disorders, is re-turning to Golden Bay to talk about ASD, answer questions and help seek solutions.

Project Janszoon Yesterday, our Project Janszoon Student Advisory Board members, Alex, Chris, Jessie and Pippa travelled to Motueka with their GBHS members. They met up with Project Janzsoon staff and Motueka High students. They talked about what they liked learning about, when in the park on camps, and they learned how to run a meeting.

ROOM THREE ARTWORK AND WRITING

Drama Workshop Cherysh, Mikey and Jaiden went to a Drama workshop on Wednesday. Below are comments of what they valued from the day. Doing the actions to make a picture. Learning how to mime using a ball was great.. Jaiden

A great experience especially to be able to show my talents e.g. making a washing machine. It was a confidence boost. Mikey

Was fun acting out the Cinderella story. I liked being able to go back and try this again to get even better. Cherysh
