TALKABOUT T82 radios are also compatible with other

TALKABOUT radios and with any other radio operating on the

splash proof rating. This IPx2 rating guarantees protection

from spills and splashes.

EASY PAIRING

PAIR AND GO. Easy pairing lets you and your family or friends programme all of your

radios to the same channel and code simultaneously. So now you can

spend less time preparing, and more time exploring.

HIDDEN DISPLAY

1. This radio meets IP67 standards. It will withstand submersion of up to 1m for 30 minutes. Radio floats with

included NiMH battery. It may not float with some AA batteries. Use of headset should be in dry

environments only.

LET THERE BE LIGHT.

On any adventure, it's crucial to be able to see what you are doing

and where you are going. The TALKABOUT T82 has a built-in LED

torch so you can get to where you need to be, even in the dark.

The LED torch also gives you the ability to read maps at night and

easily see into backpacks and bags so you know you have an

emergency light when needed.

SHOULD YOU FIND YOURSELF IN NEED...

There is an emergency button on the side of the TALKABOUT T82

– press and hold this for 3 seconds and a loud alarm will sound, and

also activate the hands free (VOX) feature for you to transmit your

call to your group requesting help****.

is not responsible if there is no response to the emergency alert from the receiving group.

DUAL POWER

The TALKABOUT T82 is supplied as standard with 800mAh NiMH

rechargeable battery packs. This gives you up to 18*** hours so you

can keep on exploring.

Need more runtime? No problem! You can use the optional high

capacity 1300mAh battery pack for up to 26*** hours of power.

can connect any USB cable to a computer, or power

pack for a quick charge.

The optional USB vehicle adaptor is also available so

you can connect your TALKABOUT T82 in the car

and charge while you drive to your next destination.

VIBRATE ALERT

Set your TALKABOUT T82 radio to vibrate instead of ring.

The vibrate alert is especially useful in locations where

ringing can be intrusive, or in loud environments where

excessive noise may prevent you from hearing your ring

When you are hiking up a steep mountain trail, you

really need to keep your hands free to handle the

rocky terrain. With iVOX/VOX capable radios you

can enjoy convenient communication with a

headset (VOX) or without a headset (iVOX ) without

having to push a button. Let your voice do all the

work to activate the microphone so you can keep

moving without ever having to stop to make a call.
