The information below is specific for the Motorola GM300. The jumper settings should be correct for

normal operation, however, you may wish to change Carrier Hold DurationandAGC.

Pin 14 from the GM300 connector is not terminated, this lead reflects the squelch output of the radio.

It is usual to use carrier which is validated by CTCSS. This is present on pin 14, if required this leadcan be removed and radio Pin 8 connected to the Simpeater carrier input Pin 12.

The link from Pin 15 to 16 on the radio is to enable the radio's internal loud speaker.

Pin 9 in the GM300 connector is the alarm input and should normally be connected to Ground.
