What is Motivational Leadership?

•Two components•One part is being an elite performer of

the task at hand•The second half is attempting to motivate

the team or group to perform on the same level as the leader.

•Most motivational leaders can be found in athletics or education

Examples?Some examples of motivational leaders are:

•Ray Lewis•Dwight Howard•Keith Brooking•Brian Dawkins•Barack Obama

How was I like that?

•Performances with the class•Leading songs•Enthusiasm

Why use Motivational Leadership?

•Not having true authority does not allow me to be a true commanding leader

•Therefore, I could not power trip like I would have loved to

•Making the class better was my next best option.

•Motivational leadership reaches out to younger people the best

•They see someone perform well, and they want to emulate that persons talent

•They also appreciate enthusiasm
