DRIVE
Extreme sports include mental preparedness, speed, a high level of exertion, and a willing partner (my horse). My drive comes from wanting to accomplish and push limits in the barrel racing arena.
RISK/INSPIRING
The risk taking perspective is a mask over the
participants “non-existent” fear (Brymer 2013).
“Studies indicate that experienced participants
display low levels of anxiety, a strong sense of reality
and emotional control. One study found that
participants exhibited self-responsibility and were
deemed to be resourceful, energetic and adaptable
“(Brymer 2013).

Do you have the stomach to win?
This video sums up my passion that comes from my
drive to become better and to push through fears I
may have when racing. Fear can either take over or
you can amaze yourself by how far you have pushed
yourself to accomplish the goals you set.
PASSION
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUE4WIP54hk
Passion has a funny way of trumping logic!
“Men and women shared personality
characteristics that included above average
intelligence, above average desire for success and
recognition, above average independence, self-
assertiveness and forthrightness” (Brymer 2013).
THE WHY?
“Why you, ask? Well, determination to become
successful led me to study the “science of success” “
(Smith 2012).
