Join us for a discussion of a work-in-progress from Mostafa Hussein’s ongoing book project, Islam and the Construction of a Jewish Culture in
Prestate Palestine, 1881-1948. This project relates a story about the nature of Jewish-Muslim relations in the modern Middle East and explores the place of
Arabo-Islamic knowledge in the formation of a Jewish culture in late Ottoman and Mandatory Palestine.
