Locally fractured, with chlorite orcalclte-filled fractures. Rare small epidote spots and hairlinefracture-fillings at various angles. Trace scattered pyrite.
Weak foliation at 35 - 65 deg.108.00 - 130.00: Becomes very weakly hematitic and locallymoderately magnetic.136.41 - 138.52: Agglomerate or autobreccia, withclasts/fragments up to 3 cm. Up to 5Va scattered pyrite. BIOTITE SYENITE DYKE Greyish brick red, medium to coarse grained, moderately hardto hard, weakly magnetic. 5"7o disseminated pyrite cubesthroughout. Chilled margins; intermediate volcanic contacts arealso chilled and weakly hematized.Lower contact sharp at 45 deg.
INTERMEDIATE TO FELSIC VOLCANIC FLOWS. Similar to 84.74 - 177.34, with minor agglomerate. Weaklysericitic toward bottom of unit.Foliation at 45 deg.Lower contact broken.
CONDUCTIVE MINERALIZED HORIZON GRAPHITIC INTERFLOW SEDIMENTS.Dark grey to black, banded to finely laminated (tops notdetermined). Rock consists of interbedded intermediate tuffs,chert, graphitic zones, minor fine to coarse grained clasticsediments, thin limonite and pyrite bands. Banding contortedbut mainly at 40 deg. 1007o pyrite throughout.
