HEMATITIC RHYOLITIC FLOWS. Pale pink to mediumbrownish pink to salmon pink, fine grained to aphanitic, hard tomoderately hard, locally weakly magnetic. Weak to nohematitization from 58 to 74m; rock is pale grey colour. Weaklyfractured, often with calcitic fracture-fillings. Local thinautobreccia zones with calcitic matrix. Trace pyrite asdisseminated cubes, normally associated with fracture-fillings.Weak foliation at 25-55 degrees to core axis.12.10-12.14: Quartz-calcite-chlorite vein (non-mineralized) at45 to 50 deg.16.91 - 17.68: Locally weakly magnetic hematitic rhyolite with30"Xo dark grey alteration patches. 307o thin, wispy quartz-calcitestringers. DIORITE DYKE. Medium to dark grey, fine to medium grained, moderately soft tomoderately hard, locally weakly to moderately magnetic. INTERMEDIATE VOLCANIC FLOWS AND PYROCLASTICS.

Pale to medium grey, locally has a reddish cast when weaklyhematitic near top of unit. Very fine grained, moderately soft tohard, locally weakly magnetic. Locally fractured, with chlorite orcalclte-filled fractures. Rare small epidote spots and hairlinefracture-fillings at various angles. Trace scattered pyrite.

Weak foliation at 35 - 65 deg.108.00 - 130.00: Becomes very weakly hematitic and locallymoderately magnetic.136.41 - 138.52: Agglomerate or autobreccia, withclasts/fragments up to 3 cm. Up to 5Va scattered pyrite. Uppercontacts sharp at 60 and 30 deg, respectively.137.11 - 137.90: 5"Xo pyrite as scattered cubes and blebs.140.39 - 141.13: Agglomerate, with 507o thin calcite stringersand fracture-fillings at various angles. 3Vo scattered pyrite.

Lower contact sharp at 55 deg.

BIOTITE SYENITE DYKE Greyish brick red, medium to coarse grained, moderately hardto hard, weakly magnetic. 5"7o disseminated pyrite cubesthroughout. Chilled margins; intermediate volcanic contacts arealso chilled and weakly hematized.Lower contact sharp at 45 deg.

INTERMEDIATE TO FELSIC VOLCANIC FLOWS. Similar to 84.74 - 177.34, with minor agglomerate. Weaklysericitic toward bottom of unit.Foliation at 45 deg.Lower contact broken.

CONDUCTIVE MINERALIZED HORIZON GRAPHITIC INTERFLOW SEDIMENTS.Dark grey to black, banded to finely laminated (tops notdetermined). Rock consists of interbedded intermediate tuffs,chert, graphitic zones, minor fine to coarse grained clasticsediments, thin limonite and pyrite bands. Banding contortedbut mainly at 40 deg. 1007o pyrite throughout.
