From Highway: Take I-74 to Morton Ave. and merge onto North Morton Ave. Follow Morton

Ave. south and turn left onto US-150 / W. Jackson Street at street light (just passed McDonald’s).

Take E. Jackson for approximately ½ mile. Morton Junior High School is located at 225 E.

Jackson Street, on your left (Morton High School will be on your right, just beyond MJHS).

Morton High School – 350 N. Illinois

Directions: front door located on Illinois St. with athletic entry located off Jackson St. (under red

canopy)…

From highway: Follow directions to Morton Junior High, however, MHS is one block further east

on Jackson at the corner of Jackson and Illinois (350 N. Illinois). Pull into parking lot past

Illinois St.

Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center – 350 N. Illinois

Events hosted: miscellaneous concerts, school musical, and district spelling bee

Directions: located at Morton High School, at back of parking lot; enter off Jackson St.

Morton Education and Administration Center (district office) – 1050 S. Fourth Ave.

Events hosted: Board of Education meetings and choir concerts

Directions: located directly south of Grundy School and Idlewood Park (and pool)

Westwood Park – 2150 Veterans Road

Events hosted: baseball games and practices

Directions: located on West side of town at corner of Lakeland and Veterans Rd…

From highway: Exit I-74 at Morton Ave. North. Turn left onto Lakeland Road (approximately

one block past Wal-Mart at gas station). At T-intersection of Lakeland and Veterans Road, turn

right and Westwood Park is on your left about ¼ mile down Veterans Rd.

Northwood Park – N. Main St.

Events hosted: cross-country meets and practices

Directions: located off Main St. at far North end of town…

From highway: Exit I-74 at Morton Ave. North. Take Morton Ave. North to Courtland Street and

turn right (Culver’s and Wal-Mart). Take Courtland to stop light at Main Street and turn left

(north). Northwood Park will be on your right across from Oakwood Park. Bus parking is

available at the back of the park (at the top of the hill).

Jefferson School – 220 E. Jefferson

Events hosted: basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and dance practices

Directions: located down 3rd St. from Morton Junior High School
