Overseen by Jesus and through the labor of Pas-tor Glen Knight, the Na-tiva set out in 2007 with a purpose to take the message of Jesus to Re-mote Islands at the southern end of the Phil-ippines. She has made many voyages and her work has caused dramatic changes in the lives of people in numerous villages. This vessel has been an agent of God’s Love in a powerful way. Hundreds of people have already begun their journey with God because Nativa brought the Good News to them.
Follow Nativa and Captain Knight through the Remote Island Ministries (R.I.M.) newsletter. The update can be found at their
sponsoring church’s website, www.victory1st.com/missions. Below are pictures and quotes from previous newsletters.
This year’s VBS offerings will be going to Pastor Knight and R.I.M.
A child with a dirty face and covered in rashes, likely the result of filth, mostly needed a good bath. He was among hun-dreds just the same.
The smile on this man’s face says it all. He can now see clearly. Glasses for the elderly make a great difference in their lives.

the faces, hands
and feet and feed
the stomachs but the
Lord can wash the
heart and nourish
the soul.” -gk
“days spent ashore revealed the needs among the islanders … sickness … malnutrition … ex-treme poverty … we are making a commitment here and now to be voices for those who truly are in need … spending money on things that aren’t satisfying the needs of people with the love of God is wasting it” -gk
“what does it mean to you that someone some-where has so little that what he has can be packed into a box or bag … does it make a differ-ence if I tell you this person is happy with what he has … I will tell you there are things more valuable … that we all know the Lord” -gk
