Summit Woods Baptist Church“Exalt the King and Extend the Kingdom”

Congregational ReadingRomans 5:1-11

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

6For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. 352 O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!

Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!Underneath me, all around me,

is the current of Thy loveLeading onward, leading homeward

To My glorious rest above!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore!

How He loveth, ever loveth, changeth never, nevermore!

How He watches o’er His loved ones, died to call them all His own;How for them He intercedeth,

watcheth o’er them from the throne!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!’Tis an ocean full of blessing,

’tis a haven giving rest!O the deep, deep love of Jesus, ’tis a heaven of heavens to me;

And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, ’tis a heaven of heavens to me;

And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!

The Greatest of All

The greatest of all transactionsThe costliest purchase price

Father, Your Son’s atoning deathWas given in payment for mineTo buy me back from slavery

To set me free from my chains

Redeemed, how I love to proclaim itRedeemed by the blood of the LambRedeemed through Your infinite mercy

Your child and forever I am

Now I’ll never know Your judgmentMy Savior was judged for me

Jesus, Your death and Yours aloneHas cancelled the debt that I owed

You satisfied the law’s demandsAnd new life’s been given to me

Each New DaySamuel Nelson

The morning sun is shining; it reminds me of your light

The lamp unto our feet and to our pathIn hope I seek your blessing as I see the morning dew

Receiving strength to share the Gospel truth

Each new day is full of mercyI will worship the King of Glory

Each new day is full of mercy, still

The noontime sun is reaching out with healing in its wings

To each soul our savior hopes to bringA knowledge of his saving grace

and end to every fearCalling those afar to come and hear

Each new day is full of mercyI will worship the King of Glory

Each new day is full of mercy, still

The nighttime now has fallen; it reminds me of your light—

The light the darkness has not understoodThe saints all gather peacefully and pray their hearts desire

For Jesus to return and reign in power

Each new day is full of mercyI will worship the King of Glory

Each new day is full of mercy, still

The morning sun shines mercyWhile your noontime’s filled with peace

And long into the evening, Jesus keeps his sheepSafe within his pasture and tightly in his arms

Holding on in love to keep us from harmW and M--Samuel Nelson(c) 2011 Samuel NelsonCCLI License #1501423

A Mighty Fortress Is Our God

1. A mighty fortress is our God, A bulwark never failing;

Our helper He amid the flood Of mortal ills prevailing. For still our ancient foe

Doth seek to work us woe-His craft and power are great,And armed with cruel hate,On earth is not his equal.

2. Did we in our own strength confide, Our striving would be losing,

Were not the right man on our side, The man of God’s own choosing.

Dost ask who that may be?Christ Jesus, it is He-

Lord Sabaoth His name, From age to age the same,

And He must win the battle.

3. And though this world, with devils filled,

Should threaten to undo us,We will not fear, for God hath willed

His truth to triumph through us.The prince of darkness grim,

We tremble not for him- His rage we can endure, For lo, his doom is sure:

One little word shall fell him.

4. That word above all earthly powers, No thanks to them, abideth;

The Spirit and the gifts are ours Through Him who with us sideth.

Let goods and kindred go, This mortal life also-

The body they may kill; God’s truth abideth still: His kingdom is forever.

Psalm 62

My soul finds rest in God aloneMy rock and my salvation

A fortress strong against my foesAnd I will not be shaken

Though lips may bless, and hearts may curseAnd lies like arrows pierce me

I'll fix my heart on righteousnessI'll look to Him who hears me

O praise Him, hallelujahMy Delight and my Reward

Everlasting, never failingMy Redeemer, my God

Find rest my soul, in God aloneAmid the world's temptationsWhen evil seeks to take a hold

I'll cling to my salvationThough riches come and riches goDon't set your heart upon themThe fields of hope in which I sow

Are harvested in heaven

O praise Him, hallelujahMy Delight and my Reward

Everlasting, never failingMy Redeemer, my God

I'll set my gaze on God aloneAnd trust in Him completely

With ev'ry day pour out my soulAnd He will prove His mercy

Though life is but a fleeting breathA sigh too brief to measure

My King has crushed the curse of deathAnd I am His forever

O praise Him, hallelujahMy Delight and my Reward

Everlasting, never failingMy Redeemer, my God

O praise Him, hallelujahMy Delight and my Reward

Everlasting, never failingMy Redeemer, my God

O praise Him, O praise HimHallelujah, Hallelujah

O praise Him, O praise HimHallelujah, Hallelujah

O praise Him, O praise HimHallelujah, Hallelujah

O praise Him, hallelujahMy Delight and my Reward

Everlasting, never failingMy Redeemer, my God

O praise Him, hallelujahMy Delight and my Reward

Everlasting, never failingMy Redeemer, my God

God over All

God over allGiver of life and health and breath

I want to sing of Your loveCame as a man

Humble, You died the sinner's deathI want to sing of Your love

Your love has saved meBy Your grace I now draw near and

Your love has set meFree to glorify Your name

And I, I want to sing of Your love

I'll never forgetThat You have bought me with Your blood

I want to sing of Your loveIn all I do

May Your great love be shining throughI want to sing of Your love

Your love has saved meBy Your grace I now draw near and

Your love has set meFree to glorify Your name

And I, I want to sing of Your love

And on that dayWhen You come back to claim Your own

Yes, we will sing of Your loveThen we'll bow down

Praise You forever at Your throneYes, we will sing of Your love

Your love has saved meBy Your grace I now draw near and

Your love has set meFree to glorify Your name

And I, I want to sing of Your love

Your love has saved meBy Your grace I now draw near and

Your love has set meFree to glorify Your name

And I, I want to sing of Your loveW and M--Devon Kauflin
