4: Now, thinking about hospitals for a few minutes...There have been a lot of hospitals and hospital companies merging over tpast few years. Some people say that hospital mergers are a good thing for healthcare. Bringing hospitals together will creaefficiencies enable a larger hospital to offer more services, ultimately allowing providers to give better quality care. Others shospital mergers are a bad thing for healthcare. Creating larger hospitals and hospital companies will reduce competition aallow hospitals to raise their prices, increasing the already high cost of healthcare. What do you think?
