MORINGA CHUTNEYThe sneakiest way to add a superfood like moringa into your daily meals !
Ingredients: (For chutney)1 tsp cold pressed coconut oilGreen chili (as per taste)½ cup moringa (dums�ck) leaves washed ½ cup grated coconut (preferably fresh) 1 tbsp tamarind1 tsp himalayan pink salt1 tsp organic jaggery
For tempering:1 tsp cold pressed coconut oil½ tsp mustard seeds½ tsp cumin ½ tsp urad dal½ tsp hing (asafoe�da)3 to 5 clean curry leaves
Instruc�ons for preparing chutney :1. In a hea�ng pan, add oil. Once oil is heated, add green chili as per needs2. Add clean washed moringa leaves3. Saute well for 2-3 mins as the leaves start wil�ng. Do not over cook4. Transfer this mixture to a blender5. Add grated coconut, small ball size tamarind, salt and jaggery6. Add li�le water and blend into a fine paste.
To prepare Tempering :1. In a small heated pan, add oil2. Once oil is heated, add mustard, cumin, urad dal, hing and curry leaves and saute well �ll it splu�ers3. Finally, add the tempering to the blended chutney.4. Enjoy the chutney with ro�, idli, dosa or steamed rice and ghee.
