C3 Program - Objective• Link the room/curtain relationship.
• Track the history, location , scheduling and cleaning of cubicle curtains.
• Provide a tool for the hospital to record in-house curtain changes.
• Real time access to the data for any authorized viewer.
C3 Program - History
• Reactive - Not a routine schedule.• Repair of curtains / mesh was not done.• No historical data of what was cleaned.• Loss and timely return of curtains was an
issue.• Complete inventory of curtains and their sizes
was unknown.
C3 Program - Value
• In addition to tracking room and curtain cleaning histories, our C3 Program LINKS the relationship and history between the room and curtain.
• It allows the curtain changes done by Morgan and the hospital to be recorded in the database to the FLOOR, ROOM, and BED level.
C3 Program – How it Works• By using and enhancing the existing database of bar coded
rooms and curtains, and the software developed exclusively by Morgan, we can link the room and curtain changing history.
• Curtains changed by Morgan AND the hospital will have the room and curtain data linked together.
• At the hospital, computer stations will be equipped with software bar code scanners and printers to allow hospital personnel to record their curtain changing activities. These changes will be imported into the Morgan database.
