I will use green and red in my magazine as they are complementary and stand out together.

Inspiration choices• I have drawn inspiration from he cover of Muse’s ‘The Resistance’

album as it shows a multitude of colours and I have found that red and green are complementary colours and I think that they would present a unisex colour scheme that for the text and any shapes that are used in the magazine.

• Also I have included images of a few of the ‘stars’ that I wish to include in the magazine such as: The Amorettes, Wilko Johnston and The Answers new album. This was helpful as it gave me stories to include that will appeal to the target audience and will enable Beat to follow in the foot steps of MOJO on which it is based.

• The images of instruments were helpful as they are commonly used in rock music genre and I shall use these as props in my images for the front cover, contents and double page spread.
