Ballroom Dance ~ Silver Foxtrot

differs from the social style in that the dancers

pass their feet at the end of each figure, rather

than closing them allowing dancers to progress

much more rapidly around the room. As

American Continuity Style is expected in Silver

Level American Style dance competitions and

above. This style is sometimes known as

"American Silver Foxtrot". Classes held

Monday-Thursday 7:00a—8:00p Friday 7:00a—4:30p

Times Are Changing

The Lancaster Parks and

Recreation-Olivedale Wellness

Center is going through some

changes in an attempt to

increase the utilization during off

peak times. Therefore, the Parks

Department has decided to open

the Wellness Center to ages 35

exercise classes that will draw in

those still working till 5:00p,

willing to drive at night and who

desire the exercise contributions

the Lancaster Parks-Olivedale

Wellness Center can offer. The

goal is to promote the Wellness

Center as an active program

using contemporary exercise

classes along with pool classes

and equipment that appeal to

younger adults, who will then

transition into long term

Olivedale Senior Center

members once they reach the

Olivedale age requirement.
