We wish to confirm that Miguel Montes Trevinos was employed at BHP Billiton Nickel West from 29th June 2011 to 2nd July 2013.
At the time Miguel Montes Trevinos ceased employment with the company, Miguel was employed as a Modular Electronics Engineer with BHP Billiton Nickel West.
In the role of Modular Electronics Engineer, Mr Montes Trevinos was responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of Fleet Management systems for the mining operations, including materials movement recording and reporting/pit optimisation systems, real-time asset health monitoring systems, networked camera systems, and communications infrastructure. As such, his role was responsible for ensuring high standards of reliability and safety in both existing and introduced systems, as well as acting as subject matter expert for analysis of future projects. Mr Montes Trevinos’ role included both hardware and software aspects. Working with the Modular Mining Analyst and Senior Dispatch Engineer, Mr Montes Trevinos was also responsible for ensuring high levels of integrity in the data collected by the systems and developing meaningful and useful reporting.
