Welcome to Montana Tech! Our entire campus—the faculty, staff, and a great group of students—is looking forward to

meeting you. Orientation provides a unique opportunity for you to meet friends and get

involved. We hope you use this Orientation Express as a guide for your Orientation events

and events throughout the semester. If you have questions, visit the Student Union (SUB)

desk, the Residence Hall desk, the Highlands College front desk or call 406-496-4211.

Enjoy a root beer float at the top. Meet in front of the SUB. The Business Office and Enrollment Services is open from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (M-F).

The Marcus Deli is open from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Visit the game room in the Mill Building. Hours are: 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (M-F) | Noon-4:00 p.m. on Sat.. | 11:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Sun.

The Veteran’s Lounge is open M-F. The North Campus lounge is open from 7:30 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. and the lounge at Highlands College is from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

You are automatically enrolled in Digger Challenge, a course in Moodle, titled FYE 101. Digger Challenge contains many academic and extracurricular opportunities. By scanning your Digger Card at an approved Digger Challenge event, you receive an assigned number of points as well as a chance to win a weekly prize. Digger Challenge wraps up with you

being able to bid or purchase chances on great prizes at the Fall Semester Silent Auction. Your first Digger Challenge is Know Your Campus Resources. Many of the events listed in the Express are Digger Challenge events. Check out Moodle, pick up an FYE flier, or watch your e-mails to keep apprised of the opportunities for gaining those points!
