1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Company background:

The Mont Albo Massage Hut was a popular massage franchise in the Philippines developed by Dr. Maynoll Montalbo, a young dermatologist and a successful market expert. The Mont Albo Massage Hut offers only pure revitalizing massage services and was even endorsed by Filipino celebrities.

Proposal background:

This proposal was born under valid circumstances and significantly specified reasons that we have gathered through observations and surveys. These informations were significantly based from the needs and the demands of the customers as far as the "Mont Albo Massage Hut" franchise is concerned. Therefore, these problems lead us to a project proposal that will fill these insistence and pursuits of the customers needing to be solved by our proposal.

Our team thinked of way to innovate the existing spa into being more flexible and efficient. As a result, the "Spa-on-wheels" idea was proposed to level up the massage services of Mont Albo. The concept was very unique if it will be proposed here in the Philippines and according to research, if pushed through this will be the very first Spa Bus in the country. However, as we conducted further research, it shows that concept is proposed already in Britain in 2009 .

SURVEY REPORTS:– According to surveys, spa services like the Mont Albo Massage Hut is now in demand and shows inclination in the market especially here in the Philippines.

Survey Reports and Results: (Intelligent Spas Association PH)–Intelligent Spas, a spa association in the Philippines has conducted the inaugural survey of spa facilities in the Philippines and found the industry has grown 74% since 2003, with 87 spas currently open and operating. The research achieved an excellent response rate of 54% of all spas in the Philippines, enabling very reliable industry benchmarks to be calculated. The report, entitled Spa Industry Profile Philippines 2003-2007, features over 500 quantitative statistics on the Philippines spa market as well as supporting qualitative trends and observations from spa owners and managers. It is a valuable tool for businesses competing in, or supporting the Philippines’ spa industry, to more accurately develop and plan spa-related products, services, campaigns and initiatives.

1.1 Context Rationale Overview –It is already given that the people’s demand for stress relievers especially Filipinos in cities, specifically Manila, come in

different forms and are currently on significant uprising as the modern world shifts into a more stressful and strenuous environment at such levels and factors.

Here are the dilemmas being taken into action by our proposal in the company and in the market:

1.) The Mont Albo Massage Franchise as well as such massage franchises offers only body massage services or a specific service alone. In this perspective, it does not entirely gives a sense of “total renewal or overall treatment” that it focuses only on one area. This gives a sense of lacking of choices. Every customer wants a spa center wherein there are services according to their specific need or preference, in short, a total package of pleasureable services in one location.

2.) The Mont Albo itself is a land structure or building and is only capable of serving permanently in one area. This interferes with how customers want a place for them to stay even when they are in any location at any point in time. So, the idea of a Spa inside a bus is a significant and an interesting way to reach customers flexibly and easily which is less of a hassle for the customers.

3.) Many of Filipinos, especially in poor communities doesn't have a job. Therefore, the human resources or laborers that we will hire will be composed of the unemployed people in poor communities here in Manila which were capable of performing the services. So at the same time, this proposal also serves as a source of livelihood for them.

4.) Beneficiaries such as social and health foundations will be shared and donated by portion of the income of this trial project proposal.

II. Project Proposal Content

2.0 Project Description:

– The "Spa-on-wheels" levelled up concept called the "Mont AlBus" is a project that we plan to propose to our associate/contractual company which is the Mont Albo Wellness Corporation. Our project proposal’s tagline is “Treatments On Tour” that specifies our aims to serve customers while on tour. Mont AlBus offers a complete package of hospitable Spa based services. In our "Spa-on-wheels" proposal, there will be Foot & Body Massage, Facial Care & Treatment plus bonus services including a Hair Salon and a Manicure & Pedicure treatment.

-Mont AlBus intends to provide a stress relieving service to customers mainly in the Manila area which is also the area of the main branch of Mont Albo Massage Hut. It is a very creative approach for us where customers are finding a rejuvenating yet affordable spa treatment near or within their location. The bus itself will be rented to Froehlich Tours Philippines bus companyThe Mont AlBus will be stationed to sets of locations around Manila at specific time frames therefore rounding and travelling to different places in the city. It is also certain to leave those who enter the bus feeling revitalized and rejuvenated. On the other hand the proposal also has a foundation that it supports namely the Cancer Warriors Foundation Philippines.

2.1 Project Importance:– The "Spa-On-Wheels" conceptual project is significant in innovating an existing wellness corporation,

especially the Mont Albo Massage Franchise to further enhance their competency and risen their income

– The project gives everyone a chance to try a treatment without traveling to a salon. The salon literally travels to you and and travels with you.

– The project has a cause and reason to operate rather than just serving the mother company itself but is also able to help and support an existing charitable foundation by donating a portion of its income.

– The project's demand for human resources can be one of the ways to hire poor and unemployed Filipinos eventually turning it as thier source of livelihood and income for their families.

2.2 Project Beneficiaries

– The Mont Albo Massage Franchise itself will benefit in our innovative and creative approach to reach more customers and hopefully gain bigger income. If this proposal will click to the market, the be more popular and competent against its rivals.

Customers and Laborers:

– Of course, the customers will benefit on a very relaxing services yet so much affordable prices. On the other hand, the laborers which consists of poor, unemployed yet skilled workers will benefit on a very just salary

Chosen Foundation:

The Cancer Warriors Foundation (CWFI) is founded on the conviction that cancer can be beaten, if detected early, given proper management and care, and armed with the unwavering faith, that “God will make a way”. CWFI has a vision that is founded on the conviction that one death is too many and that no Filipino child should suffer a diminished quality of life because of cancer. This foundation mainly focuses on advocacy, awareness and treatment. They are advocates in the policy, media and social arena as and raise awareness with information campaign on childhood cancer. They have also implemented direct patient treatment assistance and a resource mobilization for rural areas.

We have chosen the Philippine Cancer Foundation as our beneficiary. We will share and donate 10 % of our income to them every month.

2.3 MethodologyProject Operation:

1.) PERMITS - The project proposal first needs these sets of permit in order to operate legally and with valid consent– * Mayor's Permit - Permit coming the mayor of Manila– * DOLE Permit - Department of Labor and Employment's permit for employees being hired – *Bus/LTFRB Permit - A vehicular permit and license from LTFRB –* NBI Clearance - Clearance from workers and laborers being hired– *Cancer Warriors Foundation Permit– *Mont Albo's Permission and Acceptance Letter for Proposal

2.) BUS CONTRACT - We are planning to rent a "double-decker" bus from Froehlich Tours bus company and sign a deal with them for us to operate.

A. Massage ( Foot and Body)

A revitalizing massage that involves working and acting on the body with pressure mainly in the upper body part and on the feet.

- A rejuvanating facial treatment you will experience to make the face look more young and radiant. Using only the best facial products concerning with four different types of facial treatment.

Hair Salon*Hair Cut – 50 php * Hair Styling – 100 php

Manicure & Pedicure-A ravishing nail treatment that will give you a clean, shining and glossy nail only with our trained workers and quality nail products.

–4.) LABORERS - We will conduct a hiring search of for our workers in the poor communities in Manila. We will hire them according to their past experiences. After hiring, we will give them a little systematized training.

–* Past Experiences about "Hilot", haircutting, driving, manicure & pedicure

–* Applicants must pass a Bio data and a Baranggay clearance

–* Must be at least 18 years old and even without educational attainment.

– Workers Needed:

–2 Hair stylists/Barbers 2 Manicurists/Pedicurists 1 Bus Driver

–2 Massage Therapists 1 Facial Therapist 1 Security/Operational Personnel

5.) MATERIALS

Materials used are mainly furnitures in different types, specific tools and specific ingredients or products used for each service. We will only use high quality materials.

6.) OTHERS ELEMENTS

–*Electricity - consumption of electricity mainly stored on eletric vehicle volts

–*Maintenance - bus cleaning and segregation of wastes are implemented

–*Personnel Uniforms - the Spa workers wear presentable Mount AlBus uniforms

–*Gas Expenditure - there will be costing on total gas consumption

7.) CUSTOMERS - The customer strategy are of different approaches:

–*While the Spatity bus is on the road, it will stop to certain areas in a cycle manner so that the people will have time to inquire and enter the Spa Bus consequently.

2.4 PROJECT SHEDULE – This project is only a proposal and intended to run as a Trial for a span of 12 months or one year. If the "Spa-On-

Wheels" theme will "boom" in the market and created a positive result within its schedule of running, there is a big chance and possibility that this proposal will be a permanent service of the MOUNT ALBO Massage franchise.

– The "Mount AlBus" will stop over to specific locations in the municipality of Manila for every 4 hours.

We solely used our "tagline" as a metaphor of how service will work inside the bus as to how we will take the spa to you without a hassle. It is a very creative approach for us where customers are finding a rejuvenating yet affordable spa treatment near or within their location.

– Manila spa on wheels is not just aiming for a bigger profit but rather we are aiming for a bigger heart to help those people in need. Cancer patients is close to our hearts and for that they are our no. one beneficiary. We therefore conclude how this project proposal will be effective in the company and will boom in the market by making this Trial in Manila for 12 months. We therefore hope that this proposal will be accepted in the company and eventually succeed if implemented in the market. This proposal aims its best by giving the complete package of service inside the First Spa Bus in the Philippines.
