    Ships PassageWhen you need to, you can secure free passage on a sailing ship for yourself and your adventuring companions.     Open Hand TechniqueYou can manipulate your enemys ki when you harness your own. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

Although the Brotherhood survived the fall of Netheril and the death of Amaunator, it never coalesced around a proper successor. Instead, each monastery chose its own deity to serve, with most eventually gravitating to Lathander or Selne, but a few choosing Sune Firehair. Today, the Brotherhood of the Sun is known as the Order of the Sun Soul, and the group's original association with the church of Amaunator has been largely forgotten. The order now admits both men and women, but retains its itinerant nature and ancestral focus on serving the common folk of the Realms. They are a widespread order but their largest monastery is the Monastery of the Sun in Waterdeep.

    AmaunatorAmaunator is the reincarnated deity of the sun, the timekeeper of the gods. Though some say he died, he actually transformed into Lathander, and was worshiped under that name for centuries before finally reclaiming both his name and his mission. He causes the sun to burn and sets its course across the sky, giving rise to the celestial clock by which all time is measured. All who benefit from the accurate keeping of clocks and calendarssuch as farmers, merchants, and nomads who follow the seasonsrevere Amaunator. He is also favored by those mortals who respect the law and find comfort in predictability. Amaunatori are rigid and traditional in the worship of their deity, and little variety exists between different sects. His priests, the sunlords, offer their services as judges and administrators. Their most solemn observances are reserved for the day of the summer solstice.FactionName: Order of the Sun SoulBackstory: Half-Elf/CalishiteCalishites were descendants of the slaves of the genies who ruled great empires south of the Marching Mountains. These ancestors were not native to the continent of Faern. After the djinni Calim's power dwindled, the Calishites were able to free themselves of the genies' yoke and founded the nation of Coramshan in 606 DR. Zanril's mother, a Half-Elf named Halawalyn, died in child birth. But his father, a human named Abbakar, took good care of Zanril in their home town of Calimport. As Zanril had a human father and a half-elf mother, many mistake him for being a normal Calishite human if his ears are hidden.

    SailorAt a young age, Zanril's father was caught in a feud with some of Calimport's most dangerous ruffians, and was murdered in the process. Left alone, Zanril had to work for his survival and found a job as a Shipwright's Assistant for one of his fathers old friends at the Calimport harbor. During late night drinking at the harbour pub, Zanril became good friends with a merchant named Jabal, the captain aboard one of the most revered merchant ships in Calimshan. The stories of the great adventures on The Shining Sea, left Zanril daydreaming about pirates and sea creatures during work hours. One day, Zanril finally got the courage to ask Jabal to join the crew aboard his ship, and the old merchant welcomed him with cheers and liquor. 20 years he sailed The Shining Sea, and traveled to many places around the world. But life at sea quickly took a turn for the worse one stormy night, when the ship got attacked by pirates. The ship wrecked, and sunk to the bottom of the sea, and Zanril woke up on a beach, far away from home. In his hand, he held a Belaying Pin, that belonged to the first and now only ship he ever served on.

    MonkDuring his travels back to Calimport, Zanril reflected on his life at the sea. A profession that felt like a jolly good time, was actually filled with corruption and foul play. Making profit from the weak and vulnerable. Filled with guilt and disgust by his past actions, Zanril decided to start anew when he got back to his home city. When Zanril finally arrived at Calimport, he quickly realised that he had nothing left there. With a sudden feeling of hopelessness, he turned to the liquor and only worked to afford more.
