The meet-and-greet allows NIFTIT to gain a deeper understanding of your company and its expectations in regards to its IT infrastructure. During this process, we will discuss the documents, architecture, access, platform, and data shared by your organization. NIFTIT will collect and analyze the information provided in order to best customize your monitoring solution.

STEP 4. SUPPORT

NIFTIT will support the recently deployed solution for 90 days and will suggest how to improve performance/security of the information system. NIFTIT will support any Centreon issues caused by misconfiguration.

NIFTIT will manage the following change requests:

Add / remove host to be monitored (up to 15 changes)

Add / remove service to be monitored (up to 15 changes)

Add / remove host group or service group

TECHNICAL POINTS

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Centreon is a solution that can be deployed on a Linux server (physical or virtual). NIFTIT will help build the server required and the architecture that best fits the client infrastructure.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

In order for NIFTIT to adhere to the suggested timeline, NIFTIT will work with your team to ensure:

NIFTIT has access to the server required as root (ideal permission) or with the necessary permissions to deploy and configure the monitoring solution

NIFTIT has access to all devices in need of monitoring

NIFTIT is able to install a SNMP feature

ASSUMPTIONS

NIFTIT limits the integration to 500 services monitored (approximately 100 devices).

LICENSING AND FEES

Client shall be responsible for all fees related to licenses and third-party tools incurred while performing services under this agreement.

ENVIRONMENT ACCESS

Client to provide necessary access to the environment to NIFTIT in a timely manner upon approval of agreement.

Client to assist NIFTIT in resolving access issues to the environment within 24 hours of reported outage (barring weekends and holidays).

COMMUNICATION

Feedback and communication by both parties should be conducted in an effective and timely manner so as not to prevent or delay Client and Company from meeting set deadlines.

WHAT IS THE COST TO PURCHASE THE MONITORING PACKAGE?

General public price for the solution is $4,499 USD.

Registered nonprofits with a valid 501©(3) status and educational organizations can acquire the solution at the discounted price of $2,999 USD.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE MY MONITORING PACKAGE IS UP AND RUNNING?

Once the network diagram and the inventory is approved, NIFTIT will take up to 15 days to implement the solution and train the client in its use.

CAN I MODIFY THE MONITORING SOLUTION CONFIGURATION?

Yes. NIFTIT recommends using caution when modifying the configuration but will provide the client with support if an error has occurred in the process.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE 90-DAYS OF SUPPORT ENDS?

NIFTIT is more than happy to extend the support depending on client needs. Please contact us at [email protected] for information on extended support.

WHAT IF FURTHER ASSISTANCE IS NEEDED AFTER OUR SUPPORT PERIOD HAS EXPIRED?

Option A: Continued Support

NIFTIT will continue to collaborate with you through the purchase of bucket hours. NIFTIT recommend 5 hours per month that can be used for training, auditing, monitoring, and additional support for the monitoring platform. The 5-hour bucket package is priced at $450 USD/month.

Option B: On Demand

With this plan, your organization can request NIFTIT services on an as-needed basis at the standard rate of $125 USD/hour for all tasks.
