Mobile Energy Monitoring

HVAC electrical and heat energy used to condition, supply, filter and extract air typically equates to 50 – 75% of a facilities total energy cost.

By monitoring individual HVAC plant these costs can be verified and reduced where excessive. Hidden problems remain hidden; bespoke monitoring targets the problems and provides an opportunity to rectify.

Benefits of energy monitoring

Benefits

Client (user) & remote monitoring of AHU and components Establish plant trends identify peaks Immediate Fault Reporting notifications via email, SMS text Filter change prediction change cost vs. postponed change Simple access to historical data Energy Saving opportunities for Client reports Data Comparisons pressure/volume/power Energy Monitoring Bureau with regular reporting and energy saving potential Identification of BMS faults and out of commission/range sensors Provides verification of projected savings Simple Installation most MEMU's are installed in 1-day with minimal disruption

Energy monitoring dashboard

Dashboard

Data from each MEMU is shared with our dedicated DASHBOARD to enable users to view the live data trends. The Dashboard is specific to the HVAC MEMU's but can be modified to suit generic units if required.

There is an option to brand the dashboard with client logo's and details for display in public areas to maintain a high visibility of the efforts taken to reduce energy use.

The MEMU Dashboard contains report generating functions to produce standard and user definable reports on energy use and unit performance. EECO2 have developed a "predictive filter change" function into the dashboard which shows the optimum time to change filters based on filter costs and additional energy used to overcome the dirty filter pressure drop.

Energy monitoring

A favoured option for the MEMU is the EECO2 Energy Bureau.

Clients have the option of having EECO2 monitor their MEMU's and supplying regular reports on plant performance as well as alerts and alarms. Reports can be generated for any timescale, usually pre & post contract, monthly, quarterly or annually.

The Energy Bureau will notify the Client when filters need changing and if there are any problems with the heating or cooling by checking the trends of each function.

The Energy Bureau enables the Client to utilise the full functions of the MEMU without spending time generating reports.
