Abbreviations: BO = Bind Off CO = Cast On K = Knit P = Purl Rnd(s) = Round(s) St(s) = Stitch(es) Note: Dropping the YO means to just drop it off the needle, giving it an open effect in the pattern. Begin Pattern: CO 40 sts. Join in the rnd being careful not to twist sts. Rnd 1: P Rnd 2: *[K1, YO]; repeat from * to end of rnd. Rnd 3: *[K1, drop YO]; repeat from * to end of rnd.
