Mondéco terrazzo is one of the most versatile flooring options available to the construction industry. By blending marble, flint, granite, mother-of-pearl or glass chips into an epoxy or polyurethane resin binder, we can create an eye-catching surface that is tougher and more wear-resistant than ceramic, stone or even terrazzo tile counterparts.

The seamless application of Mondéco allows for a joint-free, hygienic finish on the surface of the floor where, unlike tiles, the build-up of dirt, dust and bacteria is eliminated. The Mondéco material is also significantly lighter than other tiling materials, making it an excellent option for multistorey installations. once sealed, Mondéco is impervious to water and stain damage, it doesn’t chip like other tile materials can, and can be used in a variety of designs and patterns.

Mondéco can be installed in a variety of complicated patterns using brass or aluminium trims, which are laid on the surface of the floor in a matrix that designates each area of the design. Mondéco is simply used to fill each colour block before the whole surface is ground to reveal the stunning design.

Mondéco, the designer floor finish from Flowcrete, is helping to create an enchanting ambience at the popular disneyland theme park in Hong Kong.

Installed in the entrance walkway of the Fantasy Land’s Fare Restaurant and Princess Shopping Arcade, the flooring material has been used in six different colours, as part of an exclusive design requested by the client.

Available in an unlimited resin colour palette, Mondéco is blended with marble, glass and mother of pearl to provide a dramatic floor finish that is capable of withstanding the park’s 34,000 daily visitors.

despite a tight construction schedule, the stunning floor was completed in time for the grand opening, and continues to provide an eye-catching surface to this day.

Flowcrete has been involved in the construction of Europe’s biggest ever shopping development, Westfield London – which is set to play its part in a massive £1.6bn regeneration of the area.

Located in the trendy Shepherd’s Bush district of West London, the new centre, which is expected to rival oxford Street, houses an atrium for live events, 4,500 parking spaces, 265 shops, 15 restaurants, a cinema and other leisure facilities.

A specially formulated blend, was specified for Westfield London’s new opulent salon style shopping area known as ‘The Village’.

Mondéco was specified not only in all communal concourse areas but also one metre into each retail unit as well. – paving the way for shopaholics wondering between top-tier fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton, christian dior, Miu Miu and Armani.
