Also a huge congrats to our JV and Varsity winter guards. This past weekend or JV and Varsity guard competed in their first contests of the season. Both groups performed really well and placed 3rd and 1st in their respective classes. We are so excited for our guard students and can’t wait to see the progress they make during the season.

LTC Health Science is having a BLOOD DRIVE on February 7 in the LTC Multipurpose Room. HOSA will be having a Chick-fil-A fundraiser on February 12

in the morning. Chicken biscuits will be sold for $3 by the

LTC breezeway, and proceeds will benefit the Pediatric

Cancer Foundation.

Attention Students: 1) You need to have an electronic pass to move throughout the building during ILT/Lunch (to go to a lab, back to your ILT teacher, to Counseling, to the Main Office, to the library, etc.) 2) You are to use the restrooms in the cafeteria ONLY!! You are NOT to leave the cafeteria to use the restrooms on C-Hall or E/F-Hall. 3) You should have your ID's on when you enter the school building and your ID should remain on throughout the school day! Reminder: Failure to meet these expectations will result in a discipline referral and consequences.

Auditions for theatre classes for next year will be February 20 and 21 from 3:30 – 5

p.m. Students can come to C104 during their ILT on these days OR come to the

Little Theatre after school.

You do not have to be at the Little Theatre right at 3:30 p.m. However, you need

to be there before 4:30 p.m. if you plan to audition for something.

9-11th graders have the option of auditioning for HN Musical Theater which is

called Theatre 3 HN or our new class next year, our competition class, Theatre 4

HN.

If auditioning for Theatre 3 HN, you must prepare a song to sing. If you are

auditioning for Theatre 4 HN, you do not have to have anything prepared.

If you have questions, email Mrs. Dellinger or stop by room C104.

The next Driver's Permit Test will be given on Wednesday, February 27 at 3:30 p.m. in the Little Theatre. You must be at least 15 to take the test. Please sign up and get a

permission form in the main office. Spring Break 2020 LHS Wildcat Trip to England and France

Any student interested in traveling to England and France including a tour of Normandy should plan to attend the informational meeting on Tuesday, February 12 at 6:30 p.m. in room E209. During this trip we will visit both London and Paris along with Normandy, Mont St. Michel and Canterbury. Make sure you attend the meeting to sign-up for an amazing experience!

Governor’s School of Science and Math

A representative from the Governor's School of Science and Math Residential program will be here on Tuesday, February 12 to speak with any sophomores and freshmen

interested in learning about the Governor's school program in Hartsville, SC.

Students should have a strong interest in math and science and present a strong academic record. If you are interested, please stop by the counseling office to get a pass

to attend. This meeting will be held in the Main Office conference room, and you can stop in between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Pelican's SnoBalls will be here Friday, February 8 on C-Hall during all lunches.

SnoBalls are $3 and will benefit the OCP and LOYAL programs.

The following are the ILT/Lunch Detention times: 2nd Block: 10:10 – 10:40 a.m.

*Coach Williams will be in the Cafeteria at 10:05 a.m. to pick up students interested in serving ILT/Lunch Detention.
