Counselor Chats were developed as an opportunity for parents/guardians to have an opportunity to meet informally with the College Advising team to discuss the college readiness process. The goal is for parents/guardians to be connected throughout the process. Parents/Guardians get an opportunity to learn about policies and protocols, trends, upcoming events/deadlines, and share experiences as they get their scholar to the finish line and/or the starting gate for college).

Attention sophomores:
Applications are now being accepted for Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY). HOBY has inspired young people for over six decades to make a difference and become catalysts for positive change in their home, school, workplace, and community. Students spend 3-4 days engaging in leadership development activities, collaborating with students from throughout the state, and exploring leadership from three perspectives: individual, group, and society. Seminars take place between April and June. The exact dates and location will be announced in mid-November. For more information go to: HOBY.org/lead
Any 10th grade student who is interested in applying for this outstanding program should submit their resume to Mrs. Hill in the Counseling Office by November 16, 2018
FINALS WILL BE HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT! Mark your calendars. Final exams will be December 17, 18, 19, 20. No early exams will be given so please plan accordingly. Additionally, we will have late arrival on those days. Bus riders will be picked up 2 hours later than normal pick up. Tardy bell will ring at 11:20 AM. More details to come.
