Mohenjo- daro

• Archaeologists found mohenjodaro under a layer of sand located by the thar desert and Indus river.

• This is the great bath and granary.

The lost city

a lot of people settled by the Indus river because it had good resources like food and water.

this city ended at about 1900bce and so did the other civilizations by the Indus river.

Artifacts

• This is one of the statues that they found.

• This picture shows about how the people of mohenjo daro might have dressed and what kind of culture they had.

Scales and weights• Archaeologists found weights

and scales inside the walls of mohenjo’s citadel

• When they found the weights and scales they also found grains as like barley wheat in the ruins of a building.

• Archaeologists call this building a granary

• Granary- a place to store grain.

Games– Our hypothesis is that they

played with clay balls and marbles.

• Some of the things they played with like dice, stone balls, grooved clay tracks, and stone board games.

Clay models

• Our hypothesis is that they made statues as how they dressed and how they battled.

• Ones they have found are of two bulls pulling a man in a two wheeled cart like the one in the picture to the right
