Research and Monitoring Officer-East, National Commission for Democracy-Sierra Leone (NCD-SL) (2012-Present); Duties include the following:

- Lead the development of monitoring framework for the activities in the annual work plans of the National Commission for Democracy-Sierra Leone

- Implement various monitoring and evaluations strategies for the National Commission for Democracy-Sierra Leone.

- Collate sectoral analysis and to provide a cross country cohesive picture of the status of key indicators civic orientation of Sierra Leoneans

- Supervise the program assistant, monitoring and evaluation; prepare quarterly monitoring and evaluation report and

- Assist in the preparation of the annual National Commission for Democracy Progress report (Current).

ACHIEVEMENTS: while working as the Research and monitoring Officer in the Eastern region, I accomplished the following duties and responsibilities;o Assist in the preparation of the annual National

Commission for Democracy Progress report since 2012-present.

o Participated on the write up of five thematic areas of the 1991 constitution to aid and increase citizens awareness on the constitutional review process in Sierra Leone

o Served as Rapporteurs for NCD consultative meetings with stake holders on the 1991 constitutional review process in the Eastern Region of Sierra Leone.

o Served as Rapporteurs for NCD Consultative Conference on the theme “the way forward for National Unity and Cohesion” organized in the year 2013

o Participated on radio discussion in the Eastern Region in a bid to enhance peaceful conduct and violent free elections in the year 2012

o Represented the Commissioner of Eastern Region on seminars and workshop on issues of democratic good governance, human rights, rule of law, peace, conflict, security etc.

o Strengthen the capacity of Kenema city and district councilors on the roles and responsibilities of councilors in the development of their communities.

Internship at the UNHCR Kenema-Sub office: I worked with the Protection Unit’s Office with the following assigned duties; I co-organized or facilitated a workshop/training on Peace Education, Gender, Development, Psycho-social Counseling and trauma healing and Conflict Sensitive Approach to Peace-building in refugee camps in the South and Eastern Sierra Leone in (2009).
