MAWC is completely padded with the ability to •add padding in the optics area. Foam, bubble wrap,...... can be used. Pocket has a hook and pile closure.

Tested by USASOC•Purchased by two US Army units•Easily maintainable•No additional equipment needed for repairs•JMPI’s similar to M1950•Donning and post opening procedures similar to the M1950. Very little cross training •needed.Highly adjustable. Can be jumped with 5th to 95th percentile personnel•Can be operated with heavy winter mittens. •Easy access to weapon and accessories. Under 10 seconds•Heavily reinforced for heavy weapons and accessories•
MaintenanceThe MAWC was built so there are no removable parts, therefore there are no parts to •loseRepairs and maintenance are similar to the M1950 and AIRPAC. Standard 301 lock-•stitch sewing machines needed to repair. All threads used are common (E, FF, 3, 5 and 6 cord). Maintainable by MOS 92R•When submerged in salt water, rinse several times in fresh water and hang to dry out •of direct sunlight.
