Claire is writing on the family calendar, organizing the day. Luke and Alex are finishing breakfast. Phil walks in drinking a cup of coffee.
PHIL(Bows towards Luke) Young Skywalker, rumor has it you’re spending the day with your elder Uncle?
CLAIREYes. (Saying it like it still doesn’t sound quite right) Uncle Manny. What are you two doing again?
LUKE(Slightly confused) He wants to play video games? Or buy video games? I dunno, it sounded better than what we usually do.
PHILI don’t know, that steam-powered locomotive set was pretty sweet.
LUKENo that was lame.
PHIL(Embarrassed) So lame...
CLAIRE(Looking back at Calendar) Ok, your dad will have to drop you off at Manny’s, Alex and I will head to the grocery store(puts pen down and turns to Alex) and then I was thinking maybe you and I could do something special...
Alex has her head in her cell phone, completely unaware her mom is speaking to her.
CLAIRE (CONT’D)Maybe the museum, or the bookstore, or (leans in and puts her hand in front of the phone’s screen) hello?
ALEXWhat? Sorry. Talking to someone.
LUKEOooh, Is it your boyfriend?
PHIL(Laughing, to Luke) Good one. Boyfriend. Right.
ALEXAs a matter of fact, it is a boy who is a friend.
PHIL/CLAIRE(Surprised/concerned) What?
CLAIREWhen did this start?
Haley can be heard screaming upstairs. Everyone looks at each other. Everyone puts their finger on their nose to exempt themselves from investigating the scream. Phil is the last to realize what’s going on. He reluctantly moves upstairs to check on Haley.
INT. DUNPHY HOUSE - UPSTAIRS BATHROOM - MORNING
Phil knocks on the bathroom door, Haley opens. She has a towel on and is blow-drying her cell phone. She is panicking.
PHILHey, everything ok in here?
HALEYDad! You need to fix it! I think I broke it, oh my god, oh my god, I think it’s broken.
PHILHey hey, it’s ok. (Turns off blow dryer) Calm down and tell me what happened.
HALEYOk, I had my music playing while I took a shower and it must have slipped off the sink.
PHILOk, Were you listening to music or were you trying to text and shower again?
Haley looks at Camera embarrassed

HALEYDoes it matter?! It won’t turn on! (Serious tone)I need it to turn on dad.
PHILMission accepted (grabs phone, looks at camera).
INT. PHIL/CLAIRE INTERVIEW
PHIL(Beaming)Sometimes it takes someone special to come in and save the day. When it comes to technology, I like to think I’m that someone special
CLAIRE(Patting Phil’s arm encouragingly) Yes. That and Haley is a nightmare without her phone.
PHIL(straight-faced) Yeah, she really is.
INT. DUNPHY HOUSE - ALEX’S ROOM - FLASHBACK
Haley is attempting to wrestle away Alex’s phone.
HALEYYou’re just using it for words with friends!
ALEXBecause it’s my phone!
INT. DUNPHY HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - FLASHBACK
Claire is folding towels and watching TV. Haley walks in.
CLAIREHey Honey.
Haley stealthily grab’s Claire’s cell phone while she is turned away and quickly leaves the room. Claire turns to speak to Haley.
CLAIRE (CONT’D)Haley? (Sees that her phone is gone) No no no, Haley!
Claire looks at the camera in disbelief.
INT. PHIL/CLAIRE INTERVIEW

PHILSo I get the chance to be the cool dad and the hero dad. These are my moments.
Claire rolls her eyes. Camera zooms back to reveal Haley is standing by the stairs impatient.
HALEYSeriously, right now? You have to do this (pointing at cameras) right now? (high-pitched) This is an emergency!
Claire looks down and points at Phil as if she is washing her hands of the situation.
CLAIREYour moment.

ACT ONE
INT. DUNPHY HOUSE - KITCHEN - MORNING
Phil and Haley are anxiously standing over a bowl of rice. Claire is finishing a grocery list while Alex is again on her phone.
PHILOk, moment of truth. Drum roll please...
Haley just stares back at Phil. Phil gives a quick finger drum on the counter and retrieves Haley’s phone from the bowl of rice and attempts to turn it on.
HALEYDid it work? Is it turning on?
PHIL(Brings the phone to his ear)No, but it’s making some really interesting noises...
HALEYYou said this would work!
PHIL(Looking at the camera) It worked on Youtube...
PHIL/Claire INTERVIEW
PHIL (CONT’D)(To the camera) Here’s the thing, the rice bowl always works. Youtube don’t lie. So I may have just decided to manually remove Haley’s battery to work things in my favor.
CLAIRE(To Phil) What?
PHIL(To Claire) I know, but how many one-on-one opportunities will I have left with Haley?
CLAIRE(Thinking about it) Especially without her phone...

PHILExactly, today is going to be special. It’s only a matter of time before she’s out of the house, married...And then little grandkids will be running around. And Luke will be an uncle...and then...
CLAIRE(Calming Phil down) Ok let’s just pump the breaks.
INT. DUNPHY HOUSE - KITCHEN - CONTINUED
HALEY(Panicked and talking to herself) There’s only so long I can socially survive off the grid. Oh God. I wonder how many plans are being made without me right now?
CLAIREHaley you’re going to be fine. We have a warranty, just go with your dad to pick up a new phone.
Haley runs over and hugs Claire.
HALEYThank you, thank you, thank you.
Phil grabs car keys.
PHILLet’s go Dunphies, adventure awaits! Who knows how many obstacles lie in our path...
HALEY(Interrupting) I’ll be in the car.
Phil and Luke follow Haley as she exits.
INT. JAY AND GLORIAS HOUSE - KITCHEN - MORNING
Doorbell rings. Jay opens the door to reveal Luke.
LUKEHey Grandpa,
Luke immediately walks into the house.
LUKE (CONT’D)so what did you get Manny? An Xbox, ps3?

JAYPS wha? What are you talking about...
They walk into the kitchen where Manny is at the table filling up a box with his board games and other toys/models.
LUKEWhat are you doing with that box?
MANNYI’ve decided it’s time for some new hobbies.
JAYWhat? Why?
MANNYI need to make room for new things Jay. (As if he’s rehearsed the line) “Discontent is the first step in the progress of a man.”
Jay makes a confused look to the camera.
MANNY/LUKE INTERVIEW.
MANNY (CONT’D)Oscar Wilde said that. And I think he has a point.
LUKEYeah and Melissa is a gamer.
MANNY Oh Melissa Harrington. A beautiful girl that likes video games? I’m completely unprepared.
LUKETag-teaming it.
Luke reaches out for a fist bump, Manny reluctantly gives in.
INT. JAY AND GLORIAS HOUSE - KITCHEN - CONTINUED
Gloria excitedly enters while on the phone.
GLORIAHahaha, yes I know it’s very exciting! I’ll see you there.

Gloria hangs up the phone.
JAYYou’re in a good mood.
GLORIAThe book signing starts in less than an hour!
JAYOh yeah, (trying to remember) 50 shades of...
GLORIAShh Shh Shh (gives a stern look at Jay), the book about two people who love each other very much, yes.
JAY/GLORIA INTERVIEW
GLORIA (CONT’D)It’s a very controversial series.
JAYThat’s one way to say it. Another would be romantic fantasy. Yet another would be...
GLORIA(Interrupting and defensive, to Jay) It is a best-seller across the world... (To Camera) and yes it is very adult.
INT. JAY AND GLORIAS HOUSE - KITCHEN - CONTINUED
Jay watches as Manny tapes up his box of old hobbies.
JAY(To Manny) I don’t know what’s wrong with what you have now? I thought we were going to finish the model Warhawk later?
GLORIA(Lovingly rubs the top of Manny’s head)I think it’s great you are trying new things mi nino.
JAY(Inspecting the warhawk)A model is permanent, like a trophy that says “hey, I made this.”

GLORIAAww Jay, Manny has plenty of “toy trophies”. Let him play with the Xboxes!
Gloria grabs her copy of “50 Shades of Grey”. She motions for everyone to follow her.
GLORIA (CONT’D)Vaminos! I have so many questions!
Off Jay’s rolling eyes.
EXT. CAMERON AND MITCHELL’S HOUSE - DRIVEWAY - MORNING.
Cameron is putting Lily into her car seat while Mitchell is packing the car with some bags.
CAMERON(To Mitchell) Was Anastasia based off her own experiences? What will she write next?!
MITCHELLI don’t know, I don’t want to know. I’m taking lily to build-a-bear while you ask your questions.
CAMERONOh c’mon, I know you’ve been reading it Mitchell. It’s ok to have guilty pleasures. Just because it’s not Hemingway doesn’t mean it’s not fun.
MITCHELLWell, it’s definitely not Hemingway.
CAMERON/MITCHELL INTERVIEW
CAMERONGloria turned me on to a new book series that is uh-mazing. A little adult...
MITCHELLA little adult? It’s in the Adult section of the book store.
CAMERONHey Mr. Judgmental, it’s called a contemporary love story.
Mitchell pulls out his phone.

CAMERON (CONT’D)What are you doing? Seriously Mitchell? Again?
MITCHELLBoom! The official genre is Erotic Romantic Fiction.
CAMERONProud of yourself? Really?
Mitchell sheepishly smiles and points at his phone.

ACT TWO
INT. DUNPHY MINIVAN - LATE MORNING.
Claire is driving with Alex in the passenger seat. Alex’s phone beeps as she receives a notification.
CLAIREIs that the mystery boy?
Alex looks at her phone.
ALEX(Nervous and worried) Yes and now we can’t go to the grocery store.
CLAIREWhat?
ALEXHe just checked in there!
CLAIREYou know where he’s “Checked in” at?
ALEX(to herself) We text, that’s what we’re good at...I’ve been avoiding face to face interaction.
CLAIREHoney, you’re being ridiculous. You’re smart and beautiful (Alex’s phone beeps again, claire points to Alex’s phone) and he’s obviously interested in you.
ALEXWhat would I even say?
CLAIREListen, let’s pretend I’m...what’s his name?
ALEXNigel
CLAIREOk, I’m...wait, his name is Nigel?
Claire fails at holding back a giggle.
ALEXYes Nigel, and did you just laugh at his name?

CLAIRE(Trying to forcibly dismiss her smile) I’m sorry, sorry honey. Ok, pretend I’m (says in poor British accent) Nigel (giggles)...
ALEXMom! He’s not even British!
CLAIREOk, sorry, you just be you, and I’ll be him.
ALEXNigel?
CLAIRE(holding back laugh) Mmhmm.
ALEXHeyyy... so did you hear about the Tanzanian water crisis?
CLAIRE(Trying to be encouraging) Ok, yeah we don’t have to go straight to the store...
INT. DUNPHY CAR - EARLY AFTERNOON
Phil is pulling into a parking spot at the mall. Haley is in the passenger seat.
HALEY(Suspicious of Phil)Why are we parking so far from the store?
Phil pulls out a flip camera from the console and begins recording.
PHIL(Looking into the camera) Entry Numero Uno! The hunt for Haley Dunphy’s new cell phone begins!
HALEYPlease no, Dad. Not today...
Phil points the camera at Haley.
PHILVideo Scavenger Hunt!

HALEYNooo...
Phil sets the camera on the dash and pulls out a pen and a list from the console. He begins to read from the list.
PHILUpon completing several challenging yet thrilling tasks, the young competitor will be granted her prize.
HALEYDad! I’m too old for this!
PHIL(Breaking character)Honey, that’s not possible. Scavenger hunts transcend age.
Phil pulls out two walkie talkies from the back of the car and hands Haley one.
PHIL (CONT’D)Here’s your temporary life-line...
Phil looks back at his list.
PHIL (CONT’D)Ok first thing is going to require two shopping carts, and your mom would want us to make sure we wear helmets...
Haley looks at her walkie talkie as if she cannot believe what’s happening to her is real.
HALEYWhat?!
INT. GAME STORE - SHOPPING CENTER - EARLY AFTERNOON
Jay is inspecting a Rock Band/Guitar Hero setup and talking to a teenage employee. The game setup consists of a microphone stand, a guitar, and a drum set.
JAYSo people actually pay (looks at the price tag) over $100 to play fake instruments?!
CLERKSir, if you want to play, just use the guitar to pick a song.
Jay grabs the guitar.

JAYYeah, that’s what I want to do with my Saturday. Play a plastic guitar to some stupid songs that...(he is thumbing through song selections) Wow. There’s some real classics here..
The camera cuts to Manny carefully inspecting three different games. Luke is playing a violent war-game demo. Manny approaches Luke.
MANNYOk, I think I’ve got my finalists.
Luke pauses his demo and inspects the games.
LUKE Date Night Adventure? Word Builder Extreme? Are you serious?
MANNYWell, what about the last one, it’s my favorite so far.
LUKECitizen Creator. (suspiciously) Sounds better...
Luke flips the case over to read the game description.
LUKE (CONT’D)“Create the perfect citizen. From Pre-k to Grad School... Get Married? Avoid divorce? Help raise a respectable family?!
INT. MANNY INTERVIEW
MANNYI’m not a monopoly kid or a trivial pursuit kid. (Proudly) No, I like to think I was born to play the Game of Life.
INT. GAME STORE - SHOPPING CENTER - CONTINUED
Luke hands Manny the controller to the war/shooter game.
LUKEOk, no more thinking. It’s time to just start blowing stuff up.

EXT. SHOPPING MALL - BOOK SIGNING - AFTERNOON
Gloria rushes to join Cameron in the back of the line to meet Author E. L. James. She gives Cam a hug.
GLORIASorry it took me so long! Is she here yet?
CAMERONSo good to see you! And yes! She just started signing.
Mitchell and Lily approach the line. Mitchell is holding a bag from the bookstore.
MITCHELLHey Gloria, how are you?
Gloria hugs Mitchell and gives Lily a kiss.
GLORIAVery Excited! So Cameron, (asking passionately) Is it love or is it lust?
CAMERON(Equally passionate)Or is it both!? I know...
MITCHELL(Not so subtly Interrupting) Oh hey Cam, I noticed your copy of the book was a little worn so I just thought you might want a new copy for her to sign.
Mitchell pulls out a copy of 50 Shades of Grey from his bag.
GLORIAOh that’s so sweet!
CAMERON(Surprised) Thank you. But you know what, this is the copy I’ve bonded with, I think I’ll just have her sign this one.
Mitchell raises the book to Gloria
MITCHELLMaybe Gloria would want...

GLORIANope, I’m OK (holds up her book). So who do you want to play Christian in the movie?
CAMERONWell, you can’t go wrong with a little Gosling...
MITCHELL(Interrupting again) Well, it just seems like a waste to not have another book signed... you never know how much it could sell for one day...
CAMERON(Annoyed) Mitchell, if you want your own copy signed, just wait in line with us.
Mitchell slides in line with Lily, looks down, slightly embarrassed.
MITCHELLI was actually thinking maybe a Chris Pine type for the role...
GLORIAOoooh, yes me gusta...
CAMERONNothing wrong with that either...
INT. GROCERY STORE - AFTERNOON
Claire and Alex are cautiously turning into an aisle with their shopping cart, keeping an eye out for Nigel.
CLAIRECoast is clear unless Nigel is over 60. God knows his name is over...
ALEXNigel?
Alex and Claire see a young teen boy show his head for a second then pull back behind the far end of the aisle.
CLAIREIs he hiding?
Alex walks to the far end of the aisle to investigate. Turns a corner, physically running into Nigel.
NIGELOh. Sorry.

ALEXWere you hiding?
NIGELNo! I was...(grabs box of cereal) looking for this?
ALEXOh, ok.
Beat of Awkward Silence. Alex and Nigel look down at their phones as they continue to talk.
NIGELSo what are you...
ALEXHow’s your day...
NIGELSorry, I interrupted...
ALEXOh, go ahead, you first...
NIGELOh just shopping with...
ALEXHelping my mom run some...
Another Beat of Silence.
NIGEL(Dismissive and anxious to go)Hey, I have to go, but umm, I’ll text you.
ALEX(Forced smile) Ok, sounds good.
Nigel hurriedly walks away as Alex looks defeated. Camera off Claire’s face reacting to the awkward dialogue she just witnessed.
EXT. SHOPPING MALL - OUTSIDE FOOD COURT - AFTERNOON
Phil has his flip camera recording as he and a heavily disinterested Haley approach the food court.
PHILTime to fuel up for the hunt.(Looking at his list) Oh and knock out another item: “Get the lady at the register to say Chicky Nugs”. (Laughing to himself) Chicky Nugs.
HALEYI’m not doing this anymore. I can’t.

PHILAww c’mon Haley. Isn’t it nice to know that you’re completely unreachable? It’s like your invisible! No one’s taking notice, the world just moves right along without you...
HALEYThat sounds horrible!
PHIL(Slightly defeated) Ok Listen, let’s just jump to the last challenge and we’ll call it a successful hunt.
HALEYFine.
PHIL(Back to genuine excitement) Awesome! Ok, first we have to blindfold you.
HALEY No no no, I’m not being blindfolded.
PHILOk, fine, we’ll switch. You blindfold me.
Phil pulls out blindfold and hands it to Haley. Phil turns on the walkie talkies. Haley begins to blindfold Phil.
PHIL (CONT’D)Your objective is to navigate me to the other side of the food court using only the walkie talkie. I just have to get close enough to touch the directory.
HALEY(half-listening) Got it.
PHILOk, spin me!
Haley spins Phil a few times then sets him off.
HALEY(Into the Walkie Talkie) Walk straight. Turn a little right. More right.

PHIL(Into Walkie Talkie) See, isn’t this fun! We used to play this in the college quad every week, (to himself) great way to meet girls (kicks a stroller).
MOTHER PUSHING STROLLERHey! What are you doing?
PHILSorry! So Sorry (Into Walkie Talkie) Haley, I need a little more direction here. Haley?
Cut back to Haley who is distracted by a good looking young man who is approaching her.
YOUNG MANHey, do you know where the gym is?
HALEYOh yeah, I can show you.
BACK TO PHIL. He can hear Haley over the Walkie Talkie
HALEY (CONT’D)So are you going to work out?
PHILWhat? Well I mean, I know I’m not in my best shape, but I’ve cut back on the calories...
Phil hits a table that people are eating at.
PHIL (CONT’D)Sorry! So sorry, very important family time happening. Haley!
HALEY(Talking to the boy) Yeah just take a right here...
Phil turns towards a large fountain.
HALEY (CONT’D)And then just walk straight. (flirting) And Good luck with those abs...
PHILSeriously Haley? you know I’m self-conscious about my...

Phil hits the fountain and falls in. He is completely immersed. The crowd around the fountain reacts and Haley looks up to see her Father in the fountain.
END OF ACT TWO

ACT THREE
INT. GAME STORE - SHOPPING CENTER - AFTERNOON
Manny and Luke are at another game system playing a fighting game. The Screen displays and audibly announces “K.O” as Manny’s character loses to Luke’s. Manny puts down the game controller in defeat.
LUKEWell, we’ve definitely ruled out rpg’s, first person shooters, and obviously fighting games.
MANNYI’m sorry Luke, I’ve tried, I just don’t think I’m cut out for this. I have to accept that Melissa and I aren’t meant to be.
From behind them they hear Jay loudly celebrating. Jay is holding the plastic guitar controller in the air with two hands like a trophy.
JAYHaha! 4 stars baby! (Mocking the game clerk) I bet you can’t do that, 4 stars? No way.
CLERK(Condescending) Sir, I can 5 star it on expert. And please don’t hold the guitar like that.
Luke and Manny approach Jay. Embarrassed Jay puts his guitar back down and tries to be nonchalant.
JAY(To Manny) Hey hey, so you find your new hobby?
MANNYAfraid not.
LUKEIt’s been a struggle.
Jay looks at the rock band game and tries to subtly sell the idea to Manny.
JAYWell, you know what? You haven’t tried everything yet have you...

Jay hands Manny the plastic guitar.
JAY (CONT’D)Ok, so here’s how it works, first you’re going to want to strum this to pick a song...
Manny has already picked a song and is starting to play it.
JAY (CONT’D)(Surprised) Ok, yeah, like that. Now pay close attention to these chords...
Manny is hitting every note with ease.
LUKEWoah, hey. You haven’t missed a note yet!
Camera focuses on Jay’s face as he is in shock and even a little jealous.
JAYAlright, it is one of the easier songs though...
EXT. SHOPPING MALL - BOOK SIGNING - AFTERNOON
Gloria, Cameron, and Mitchell (holding Lily) have all made it to the front of the line. With book in hand Gloria excitedly runs to hug the author.
GLORIAI love love love your book!
E. L. JAMESThank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it. What’s your name...
Cameron and Mitchell approach the table.
CAMERONThis is such an honor
E. L. JAMES(confused) I’m sorry, I’m almost done here (looking at Gloria) and then...
GLORIAOh no, your book brought us all together.
E. L. James gives a confused look at the Motley Crew

E. L. JAMES(Biting) It’s always a surreal experience to meet the real fans...
MITCHELLYou know, I just have to ask, because we’re here...
E. L. JAMES(Smiling) Oh I prefer to not answer any questions during a signing. There’s a session setup later...
CAMERONOh, totally understandable, could we get a quick picture?
Mitchell continues to press on.
MITCHELLRight it’s just that I found a bit of an inconsistency between two different interviews you did...
E. L. JAMESI’m sorry?
Gloria grabs Cameron by the arm.
GLORIACameron, what is he doing?
CAMERONMitchell, I’m sure whoever wrote the interviews were just confused, (pulls out his camera) just one quick picture...
MITCHELLOh, no one was confused, you were quoted verbatim...
CAMERONMitchell!
E. L. JAMES(Still smiling, though much more forced) No, continue, please. Do you remember the interviews in question?
Mitchell hands lily over to Cameron and eagerly pulls out his phone to show the author.

MITCHELLSee Cam, it’s fine. No one’s claiming to be perfect. Ok, this one was right after the first book where...
E. L. JAMES(Overly sarcastic) Oh, let me see that a little closer...
E. L. James grabs Mitchell’s phone and throws it across the courtyard.
E. L. JAMES (CONT’D)Security? (Motions towards Mitchell).
Mitchell runs after his phone. Gloria begins to move towards E. L. James, Cameron restrains her.
GLORIAHey! I don’t care how gripping and addicting your book is, you can’t go throwing peoples’ things! You are lucky there’s a child here or else...
CAMERON(Trying to appease Gloria)Yeah, you tell her sister. Totally unprofessional!
Cameron hands Gloria Lily and leads her away from the table then turns back suddenly to self-take a photo with James.

Haley meekly approaches Phil with a Hot Chocolate.
HALEY(Handing him the drink) It’s dark chocolate with salt, your favorite...
Deflated, Phil puts the drink down and pulls out a wet and wrinkled scavenger hunt list.
PHILNumber 11 on the list, “order frozen hot chocolate to finally find out how that’s possible”.
HALEYWe could still do that you know? The list?
Phil puts the list down.
PHIL(dejected) No, you were right. It was a stupid idea. (Pulls dripping phone out of his pocket) I was just looking for a way to spend time together. The camera’s busted, and now I need a new phone.
HALEY(Trying to make her dad feel better)Well we both need new phones now.
Phil remembers he has Haley’s phone in his pocket and removes it, realizing it is now really broken.
PHILRight. Perfect.
HALEYYou know, I think I actually have liked “being off the grid”.
PHILYou don’t have to say that.
Feeling guilty, Haley grabs the list and begins to write.
HALEY(Excitedly) Ok, you know what? It’s time for a new activity.
She attempts to write on the paper but the pen just goes through the wet list.

She puts down the list and attempts a motivated pitch.
HALEYYour mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find a new, and warm outfit to impress Mrs. Dunphy

HALEYIt’s shopping dad. I’d love to.
Phil begins to smile for first time.
PHILMission accepted young lady.
Phil takes a triumphant gulp of his hot chocolate. Winces.

INT. DUNPHY CAR - LATE AFTERNOON
Claire is driving, Alex is staring at the window, melancholy. Alex’s phone beeps.
CLAIREIs that Nigel?
ALEX(letdown) Nope. Just some facebook notification...
CLAIRE(Encouragingly) Well hey, you know what, I’m just proud of you for being brave, going in, and...

Alex raises her phone triumphantly.

Claire high fives Alex. They both smile.

PHILTechnology’s my thang. I love it. It really does make everything easier...
CLAIREWell not everything. Some things can definitely become more complicated.
PHILYes, ok, for some people (Not so subtly tilt’s head towards Claire), it can be more of a hurdle.

Haley and a newly dressed Phil run into Cameron, Mitchell, Gloria and Lily. They hug and begin to tell each other their stories.

Mitchell shows his damaged phone, prompting Phil and Haley to show theirs.

They walk away together. As they move you can see they were standing in front of the game store. Through the window we see Jay singing at the Mic, Manny on Guitar, and Luke on the drums. They are having a blast.

Melissa gives a confused look at Jay then the camera. Manny appears at the door with his guitar strapped on.

MELISSA(Blushing) Thanks.
MANNYPlease come in. I’ve got the new rock band setup if you’d like to play?
Melissa enters and sees the half completed model war hawk on the table.
MELISSA(Excitedly) Oh my gosh! Is that a Warhawk?!
