Hayley, the young daughter is dressed in a skimpy cat suit, appearing to be a Sexy cat This shows the progressive movement of how we take a holiday like Halloween not serious at all.

The show builds and builds on levels of postmodernism as an Intertextual reference of Snoop Dog is commonly found in American shows, the high level of comedy is present at this moment as Jay, who is the oldest character doesn't connect with this or know who he is, portraying a stereotypical view of old people.

Halloween episodeIn this 5 minute clip, we see Gloria who is a very pretty, Mexican mother getting her accented teased on by her son and husband, Manny and Jay. This shows an element of postmodern as a lot of Americans are found to mock Mexicans, as it shows the culture differences and how if youre different you will be alienated, also following the stereotypes in which Americans have. However Gloria does not think she speaks wrong and gets upset by this, making it even more humorous. A mistake is made by Jay which is ironic as to him making fun of Gloria, as she may not know what she is saying but he is uneducated with the reference to Snoop Dog thinking it was some sort of dog, but in fact he is a well known artist. This is then highlighted when an order that Gloria takes turns out to be the wrong thing, and actual Baby Jesus are delivered, due to her mispronunciation.Meet the Characters Phil + Clair (Mum and dad)
