Modern fertilizing technologystarts at the Multi Disc System:

The key element of the MDS-fertilizer spreader are the spreader discs: precise, reliable andcomfortable for standard fertilization, latefertilization and for yield-optimized spreading to the edge of the field (right and left).

Thanks to their well-marked, three-dimensionalposition indication, the spreader vanes allow for

effortless and easy length/angle adjustment, evenafter a long service life. The precise adjustmentoptions enable the user to customize the fertilizerspreader to the use with various spreadableproducts and different working widths.

That means: highest precision in fertilizerspreading as well as the achievement of exactspreading patterns for all types of fertilizers, fineseeds and slug and snail pellets. 3

An optimum spreading patterndepends on the perfectcombination of all functions:

- Fertilizer metering,

- Fertilizer discharge,

- Fertilizer distribution across theworking width

determine the quality of thespreading pattern. A goodspreading pattern has wide scatteredges and also wide overlap zones.This means that the spreadingpattern is less affected by externalfactors such as weather conditionsor fertilizer consistency, ensuringprecise fertilizer distribution.

The core component of the MDS-spreaderis the maintenance-free oil-bath gearbox.All shafts are mounted on doublebearings. The agitator shaft is made ofstainless steel. A slowly rotating stirrer(only 180 rpm) cautiously stirs the content,resulting in a smooth fertilizer discharge.

The specially shaped metering slide isequally suited to distributing smallamounts of fertilizer (from 3 kg/ha) andlarge amounts, e.g. 500 kg limestoneammonium nitrate, at a working width of18 m and a forward speed of 10 km/h.

Typical RAUCH: MDS is the ideal devicefor spreading slug and snail pellets andfine seeds.

The granulate flows gently through thedosage channel to the spreader vane.Special indentations on the spreadervanes ensure that even the most pressure-sensitive fertilizer types maintain theirspreading characteristics.

The high disc speed of 980 rpm acceleratethe fertilizer granules to optimum releasespeed.

The result: highest precision and exactfertilizer spreading patterns for all types offertilizers, fine seeds and slug and snailpellets.

Easy and safe handling

During normal fertilizing application, the MDS alwaysremains in horizontal and constant mounting height. Thissimplifies the adjustment. Only during late fertilization theupper link will be slightly shortened. In that way, the fertilizerstream spreads in a protective manner over the crop. Thisprevents any damage to the delicate corn ears. With theM1XC spreading discs, working widths of 20 to 24 m areachieved during the late fertilization.

The metering slides are elegantly remote-controlled bymechanical, electrical or hydraulic means and separatelyopened and closed on the left and right side. Even onwedge-shaped surfaces the fertilizer can be spread outexactly to the partial width.

During the daily use, the advantages offield-proven technology are evident.

Accurate Metering

The application rate can be selected on the continuousproportional direct flow control DFC scale, starting at 3 kg/ha. The DFC scale enables an exact modification ofthe application rate without additional auxiliaryequipment.

Extremely simple: A 10% higher scale value means a10 % higher application rate. This also makes it easier toprecisely adjust the optimal application rate from onefield segment to another.

Convenient calibration testing

Since fertilizers can vary enormously, only the calibrationtest provides the final security you need. Typical RAUCH: Thanks to the tool-free removal of thespreader disc with a quick-release coupling, the MDS isconvenient to use for the calibration testing and quick inthe discharge of residual material. The calibration testingkit that is used to check the setting values is supplied inthe scope of delivery.

Simple cleaning and maintenance

The care of the MDS only takes a minimal effort. Theextensive use of rustproof materials and specialpowder coating preserves ensure that the fertilizerspreader retains its value and remains in service formany years to come.

The QUANTRON-A electronic metering system monitors and adjuststhe metering slide opening, allowing the output flow to be coordinateddepending on the forward speed and the selected application rate. Thepreselected application rate remains constant even if the forwardspeed varies.

The QUANTRON-A is an impressive system, featuring a large, easy-to-read display and, a logically laid-out menu control and a USB interface.All functions can be electrically executed by remote control, safe andcomfortable with just one hand:

The TELIMAT T1 enables precise boundary and edge spreading from the first tramline, without having to getout of your tractor seat. The boundary spreader can be remotely controlled comfortably and quickly from thetractor. A seamless changeover from boundary spreading to normal spreading without interruptions of thespreading process saves time and increases the performance. TELIMAT can be adjusted to every tramlinesystem: Simple, quick and accurate.

If the tramline lies directly at the edge of the field, theboundary spreader GSE 7 will be implemented. In therange from 0 to 3 meter, the distance to the boundary isadjustable.

The GSE 7 can be controlled from the cabin with thehydraulic remote control (optional).

The accurate MDS edge and boundary spreader unitsconform to the European environmental standard forfertilizer spreaders (EN 13739-1) and render adetermining contribution for more economy andecology.

Mode of operation RV 2M

MDS spreader with their innovative detail solutionsare ideally prepared for the professional use in thefruit-, wine, hops and vegetable agriculture.

The RV2M row crop attachment allows targetedapplication of nutrients in the root area of rowcrops. During the application, no granules fall intothe track. This saves valuable fertilizer. The RV 2Mcan be quickly and easily adjusted to accommodaterow widths from 2 to 5 m.

Especially for row crops such as corn, strawberries,vegetables and the like, the row crop attachmentRFZ 7 offers an efficient alternative, to accuratelysupply up to 7 rows with the desired amount offertilizer. With only a few manual steps, the RFZ 7can be adjusted to various metering amounts androw widths.

RFZ 7 can be combined with the MDS 11.1/12.1/17.1 and 19.1.
