Literacy Guidelines – Writing Organizers

Teaching a New Writing Text Form When introducing a new text form to students, it is important to go through the following process to ensure that students are familiar with the text form (modelled reading), understand the characteristics of the text form (modelled writing and shared writing) before being asked to independently write a text using that form.
