What we already know about Conventional lighting….

• Increase in lumen is achieved by increasing lamp wattage

• More the amount of light required more will be the power consumption

• Lamp output is fixed for rated wattage

• Efficiency of luminaire depends of ballast efficiency and reflector efficiency

• Life of lamp is fixed for the type selected

3 x 36 W CFL

What is new in LED Lighting ?

• Increase in lumen output does not require increase in system wattage

• More the system power consumption does not mean more Lumen output

• Efficiency of luminaire will depend on the type of LED, driver current, diffuser transitivity , design of LED array.

• Life of LED will depend on choice of LED & driver quality .

• LED Lighting offers the choice of using LED’s with higher Lm/W for better efficacy or Lm/Rs for better economy

LED lighting is a complex matrix of power saving and lightoutput requirements. A proper design of LED array, driver andlight diffuser can give customised solutions to suite specificneeds of efficiency, lux level requirements and economy.

How do I use LED in place of CFL/T5 luminaires to

achieve same lux levels ?

How do I save maximum power to

get desired LPD ?

How do I reduce my operational cost by changing to LED ?

How do I upgrade to LED within a tight

Need to replace conventional lighting (Standard range)

SKYLUX serves the need to replace the Conventional 2 X 36 W CFL or 4 x14 W luminaire with its best in class 36 W LED range.

The high efficient LED chip in conjunction with high transmitivity acrylic diffuser enables the luminaire to deliver a package of greater than 87 Lm/W , making it one of the best luminaire in flat panel lighting.

SKYLUX saves 40 - 50% energy costs as compared to a conventional luminaire using 2 X 36 W CFL or 4 X 14 W T5,

Need for higher energy saving (extra efficient XE)SKYLUX XE serves the need of delivering the same light output as the above standard range but at a lower power consumption (30 W). Hence a savings of 6 W per luminaire

Such products are required in renovation projects where faster payback is of utmost importance.

Also in green building projects where saving of power and achieving lower LPD is required SKYLUX XE can be effectively used.

SKYLUX XE is 16.66% more efficient than SKULUX standard range

Need for higher Lux levels (extra lumen XL)

Conventional wisdom says "higher the lumen output - higher the wattage". However SKYLUX XL defies this logic by offering 10% higher light output at 36W only .

Using highly efficient LED chips from Japan SKYLUX XL delivers an ultra high package of 94.5Lm/W, making it the most efficient luminaire in its category.

SKYLUX XL can be used where higher lux levels or wider spacing between luminaire is desired or where ceiling heights are higher than 8 feet.

Need for economy (GZ)

Everyone needs to save power and reduce maintenance to save their operational costs .

However certain applications do not demand high performance and an economical option is always welcome.

SKYLUX GZ caters to this segment of buyers who wish to make their change to LED but have a budget constraint.

SKYLUX GZ offers the same lumen package as the standard range but at a lower price.
