FOR THE 4TH ANNUAL

DANCING WITH VERO STARS

Former swimsuit model Laura Guttridge was chosen to dance for the 4th annual Dancing with Vero Stars, a charity performance organized to benefit The Healthy Start Coalition.

Guttridge was among ten star dancers in the season’s 4th event, who participated to benefit the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition.

o Laura Guttridge has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from The University of Central Florida and her work as a student is published in the university library.

o Besides being a successful model, Laura is a well known animal rights activist who has organized countless demonstrations protesting the use of animals used for fur, entertainment, meat, and experimentation. Her compassion for animals can be judged from the fact that she was arrested twice while protesting against these injustices.

o As an Author, Laura Guttridge has written a book titled “Gypsy the Christmas Cat”, which is based on the story of a real life cat named Gypsy that she rescued many years ago. The book inspires children to show respect and compassion towards animals.

o The delightful tale of Gypsy was published by The Strategic Book Group, and is available at numerous online stores.

o For her dedication towards animals, Laura Guttridge has been honored with The 2007 Humanitarian of the Year Award by the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County.

o Since 1998, she has been on the board of directors for The Animal Rights Foundation of Florida.
