A winning project proposal requires careful project planning and design

Project proposal is used to seek project funding or approval

Project proposal should provide explanation of: Executive summary Project background (the problem) Project goals and objectives Project beneficiaries and stakeholders Major activities and schedule Methodology Resources required

the major points of the project proposal The summary should be brief and should

Evaluation is the process of determining the value or the achievement of project goals or objectives

It involves gathering and analyzing information to determine: Whether the project is carrying out

its planned activities The extent to which the project is

achieving its stated objectives or goals.

6.0 PROJECT EVALUATION Project evaluation is carried out

periodically, midterm or at the end of the project.

Project evaluation can be done internally or externally

Elements that should be evaluated include: Progress in the work plan Achievement in objectives or goals Impact of the project or cost

effectiveness of the project.
