MobileView 3000: Using the Interlogix Media Player - 1 MobileView 3000: Using the Interlogix Media Player This document shows you how to start, and exit the Interlogix Media Player. It also gives you an overview of the Media Player and the viewer controls you use when viewing saved videos. The Interlogix Media player is used to play saved video clips/media files from all MobileView 3000 Series Recorders. When installing MobileView Navigator software the Media Player will also be installed. Starting Media Player To open the Media Player, locate the Interlogix Media Player icon (shown above) on your desktop. Alternatively you can browse to C:\ProgramData\Interlogix\MobileView\PLAYER\ InterlogixMediaPlayer.exe and launch the executable. Note: If video is saved on DVD with Media Player the Media Player should launch by default and autorun.

MobileView 3000: Using the Interlogix Media Player

This document shows you how to start, and exit the Interlogix Media Player. It also gives you an overview of the Media Player and the viewer controls you use when viewing saved videos. The Interlogix Media player is used to play saved video clips/media files from all MobileView 3000 Series Recorders. When installing MobileView Navigator software the Media Player will also be installed.

Starting Media Player

To open the Media Player, locate the Interlogix Media Player icon (shown above) on your desktop. Alternatively you can browse to C:\ProgramData\Interlogix\MobileView\PLAYER\ InterlogixMediaPlayer.exe and launch the executable.

Note: If video is saved on DVD with Media Player the Media Player should launch by default and autorun.

Media Player Basics

The Media Player is organized into five sections:

1. Toolbar: Open File, Snapshot, Print, Full Screen

2. Playlist: Shows all available video files

3. Viewing Pane

4. Player Controls: Frame Step Reverse, Reverse, Play/Pause, Fast Forward, Frame Step Forward, and Audio Sound

5. Exit: Click the X in the top right hand of the display to exit the Media Player. You can also minimize or maximize the screen.

To Open a Video:

1. Click Open File icon in the tool bar

The Open dialog box will display. Default look In location is C: VideoDownload

User may select alternative location by browsing to desired location.

2. Select Video File

3. Click Open

4. Press Play when prompted

Selected video file will play. The viewing plane displays video from individual cameras. The viewer will automatically adjust the number of video tiles to display all available video camera channels.

Maximizing the viewing pane

To increase the size of the images you are viewing, you can hide the tool bar and expand the viewing pane as shown below. Player controls such as Reverse, Pause, Fast Forward and Audio levels remain available. The following procedures show how to maximize the viewing pane, and resume normal viewing.

Maximizing one camera:

Double Click on the desired image in the viewing plane. The image will expand and fill the entire available display are. To exit full screen double click the image again.

Maximize the Entire Viewing Pane:

To maximize the entire viewing pane, double click the Full Screen Icon in the toolbar.

Resuming Normal Viewing:

To resume normal viewing, select the Full Screen Icon in the bottom right hand corner.

Printing

To print the view from the camera:

1. Select the desired video tile (left click on it once) 2. Select Print Icon3. Choose the destination printer, and printer options, and then click OK

The image adjusts to fit the paper size and orientation. The quality of enlarged images varies depending on the resolution of the source image. A higher resolution source yields a better-printed image.

If text overlays are present, the header and footer displayed in the selected tile are included in the printed image.

Saving video images as discrete image file: Snapshot

To Save the image(s) of a single video tile as a single discrete image:

If all images are dipslayed in the viewer pane all available camera images will be displayed. If the viewing pane has been maximized to select only one camera only that image will be saved.

1. Select the video tile2. Select the Snapshot Icon in the toolbar

Metadata Display

To view image MetaData right click on a video tile. Select View Meta Data.

Metadata if available will display. Note that a separate GPS Antenna is required to view some information.
