The Internet of Things and mobile payments were some of the major themes from day two of Mobile World Congress 2015. While Gartner predicts full adoption of the Internet of Things by 2020, the technology lags behind the optimism, and the industry still hasn’t adopted a standard for bringing it all together. Gartner also expects mobile payments are likely to grow to $700 billion by 2017. Today, IBM hosted a half day session that illustrated how companies can benefit from IBM MobileFirst solutions with client speakers from various industries.
