TFT LCD Displays

All CAMOS monitors are equipped with components of the highest quality, guaranteeing exceptional properties for mobile application.

Brilliant colours and crystal-clear sound are some characteristic attributes of our Audio/Video devices. They feature robustness, thermal resistance, and easy handling.

We provide all monitors with our „All-in-one” multi-connector cable; This allows all lines to leave the monitor in one cable, and the to be splitted at its end to each connectors. This enables you to adhere the optical harmony of your vehicle without an annoying number of single cables.

The larger displays supply a VGA and/or a DVI port to connect a PC or games console. The combination of PC and TV never has been easier.

All monitors are compatible to PAL/SECAM and are managed by a comfortable multilingual on-screen menu. Navigation and Video Rear View Systems

RV-531 [Art. 1534]This rear view system with audio support makes it much easier to handle even difficult situations. The unit includes the CAMOS CM-505R color TFT LCD dis-play with remote control and the camera CM-31A. Small but powerful, the smart display convinces with a bright and high contrast picture. It is equipped with 2 camera inputs and 1 Audio/Video input for an external source. The picture from the rear view camera can be mirrored.The CM-505R monitor supports the special feature of the black and white camera CM-31A. The integrated heating with thermal sensor keeps the lens free at low tempera-tures. CM-1502 [Art. 1511]This monochrome rear view system contains the CRT monitor CM-502 and the camera CM-1. The 5" tube monitor is equipped with 2 camera connec-tors with manual switching, and the possibility to choose for each input a side correction. The brightness can be adapted to the lighting conditions (day/night-switch). With a extremely high photosensitivity, the camera‘s wide angle lens offers best image quality even at dawn.Any other CAMOS camera of our assortment can be con-nected as an additional camera.

CM-1531 [Art. 1533]This black and white rear view bundle is composed of the CRT monitor CM-501A and the camera CM-31A. The monitor supplies one Audio/Video input, two camera inputs as well as an integrated loudspeaker. In addition to the built-in microphone, the camera disposes also of an auxiliary infrared-light and an automatic heating at low temperatures.The CM-1531 is also equipped with day/night-switch, and the possibility to mirror the camera images.Any other camera of the CAMOS assortment can be con-nected as an additional camera.

Information CAMOS rear view systems support your driving with superior safety in various versions. They transmit high quality audio and video signals of any activity located behind your vehicle.

Due to physical restrictions, driving mirrors cannot represent a comple-te view of the backward area. A camera-monitor-system covers blind angles and gives you an indispensable assistance in typical situations.

Our cameras are equipped either with black and white or color CCD sensors. Some models feature an additional infrared-light to increase the image qualityby night, or even with a built-in heating for perfect visibility by low temperatures. For your complete safety, we also offer cameras with integrated microphone.

A weather-proof body (IP-67 standard) and a sun visor protects all the cameras from direct rain and sun.

The power supply and the Audio/Video stream of the cameras are ef-fected by one multifunction cable. The camera systems, with radio transmission of the Audio/Video signal, are even easier to install.

The handling is positively simple: The special stand-by mode, automati-cally activates the system when you shift into reverse. Also the camera automatically adjusts brightness by the built-in sensor.

CM-43 [Art. 1403)Minimum size - maximum effect. This only a few centimeters small color camera offers an extremly high viewing angle and excellent photosensitivity.

CM-1 [Art. 1410]This solid camera with a monochrome wide angle lens and a high photosensitivity delivers perfect images even at twilight. This camera comes with a plastic shock-proof sun visor. (not fig.).

CM-12 [Art. 1400]The extremely small CM-12 with color CCD is especially suited also for discreet side/front installation, e.g. for parking assistance. Although this camera has a diameter of only 28 mm, it offers a brilliant picture quality.

CM-31A [Art. 1418]The multitalent of our camera series features some profes-sional highlights: The automatic heating function and the additional infrared-light guarantees best view even under difficult weather and lighting conditions. The auto iris accommodates to the environment for an optimal picture, and sound is received up by the integrated microphone.

Mobile Satellite Systems

As owner of a satellite antenna you will surely be familiar with the typical efforts to receive the mere endless range of channels in an acceptable signal quality.

First you have to find an appropriate location. After this you have to orient the satellite dish most accurate towards the desired satellite. Without a compass and a helping hand it’s still harder. And finally you should fix the antenna to prevent it from losing the correct position. Using a manually justified mobile satellite system, you have to repeat this procedure after each relocation. You will think twice if this effort is worthwhile.

Furthermore, most automatic antennas are equipped with a hinged dish. This is placed on the vehicle unprotected against dirt and rain.

As CAMOS satellite antennas are produced for outdoor application, they are absolutely resistant against the influence of wind and weather. At the same time the engineers attended an easy installation, a small size and a pleasing design. The futuristic radome impres-ses all in form and functionality.

The CAMOS satellite antennas open up a wider range of facilities. The signal quality is too good to be rest-

ricted only to the reception of tv and radio broadcast. Even modern data services such as broadband inter-net and email can be realised for mobile usage.

CSA-168VH [Art. 1703]This flat antenna is the perfect entrance to mobile satel-lite reception. With excellent values for a small budget and an extreme small size, this antenna receives all digi-tal satellite programmes, e.g. broadcasted by Astra 19,2° even through simple glass.

The polarisation has to be changed manually with the help of a swivel joint.

Especially in France and in the Netherlands, this antenna is very easy to use. There the main programmesmostly lay in the vertical resp. horizontal level only.

The CSA-168VH provides optimal reception, tendingto a low budget andless space.

Radome Antennas for Wheelers

The CAMOS full automatic satellite search, recognition and tracking antennas are ready for reception of radio, TV and high speed internet via Europe‘s main satellite systems such as Astra, Eutelsat/Hotbird and Sirius.

The easy installation allows the retrofitting of all kinds of wheelers, esp. motor homes, V.I.P. busses, lorries, vans or cars.

The antenna control box, which is included in the delivery, can be mounted behind the vehicle interior lining. The sophisticated aerodynamic radome is of low height, and protects the sensitive electronics against weather influences.

There are four models available, varying in size and functionality.

CSA-130P [Art. 1760]Activating this stationary antenna, it automatically recognizes the selected satellite within 10 seconds up to 2 minutes. The dish is of only 30 cm height.

CSA-140P [Art. 1765]Just like CSA-130P, but this modell comes with a 40 cm high dish. This gives more reception reserve for unfavoura-ble locations and foul weather.

CSA-230M [Art. 1750]This version of satellite antenna does not only search and recognize the selected satellite, it also automatically tracks the satellite in motion. The exactly positioned 30 cm height unit provides an almost uninterrupted satellite signal, depending on the surrounding landscape (trees, houses, etc.).

The unique feature of the CAMOS CSA-230M is the endless azimuth range from 0° to ∞, which enables the antenna to absolve an unlimited number of rotations around its own axis, without getting tangled up.

The antenna finds the selected satellite within 50 seconds up to 2 minutes and immediately reacts on the smallest change of it‘s position. It is ready for reception of Astra 1 & 2, Eutelsat/Hotbird, Atlantic Bird 3, Hispasat and Sirius-Satellites.

The sea water proof radome protects the sensitive electronics and can be installed with less effort.

The CAMOS single cable solution requires only one common connection cable for power supply and antenna signal. The endless azimuth range from 0° to ∞ enables the antenna not to be returned to an origin position while tracking a satellite. This allows almost uninterrupted satellite reception.

In addition to radio and TV the CSA-450 marine antenna is ready to receive data services, such as broadband internet or email.

This makes the CSA-450 to be a good starting point for an onboard multimedia and entertainment center.

CMS-24 AV Selector [Art. 1610]The CMS-24 has a manual Audio/Video selector for two cameras and one external source, e.g. for DVD player or satellite receiver.The input source can be selected by a cable-bound con-trol panel which allows a hidden installation. Both camera inputs operate in either normal or mirrored mode. The monitor does not need to have a mirror function.If two cameras are connected to the CMS-24, the fre-quency of the seesaw function can be trimmed. In diffi-cult situations this feature is very helpful to keep every-thing under control. The CMS-24 is an useful accessory for display devices with only one Audio/Video input.

CVA-105 Video Amplifier/Splitter [Art. 1605]The five channel video splitter with integrated amplifier is a rather essential component for the installation of a multiuser multimedia system. Up to five monitors can be connected to one video source (DVD player, satellite receiver a.o.), and all four output power levels can be justified separately. The CVA-105 is stored in a solid metall box with moun-ting plates.

SIA-17 Indoor Antenna [Art. 1531]The analog/digital antenna for mobile inboard usage feeds a connected receiver, e.g. the CAMOS DVB-T receiverTVR-300. The integrated pre-amplifier offers best possible signal quality. With 2 x 2 rods the antenna can be used in diversi-ty systems as well.To keep the installation most comfortable, all components are prepared with adhesive tape.

EFM-01 FM-Modulator [Art. 1608]There are still a large number of car radios available, without an additional AUX input, e.g. for DVD/MP3 player. The audio HF-modulator EFM-01 is the answer to the pro-blem with all those devices. The modulator is simply to be interposed between car an-tenna and radio. The PLL synthesizer circuit modulates the incoming audio signal to one of eight selectable FM carrier frequencies, which can be processed by the car radio tu-ner. If you use the station memory, the external sound is available by keystroke. And now you can enjoy even more music, thanks to the additional digital Audio-Out, which enables you to connect your MP3-Player.

CX-100 Radio Link [Art. 1405]This radio link system transmits both audio and video sig-nals of your rear view camera to a cockpit monitor.Thus the retrofitting of a rear view system into all kind of vehicles is as simple as possible. The set contains one receiver and one transmitter, which can directly be connected to the input/output jack of the camera resp. monitor. Optional adaptors for the wireless connection of other Audio/Video components are obtainab-le upon request.With multiple receivers a wireless Audio/Video distribution system can be realised.

The back panel of those devices is ready for optimal and secure mounting.The ball joint allows a flexible adjustment to the prefer-red viewing position. VESA 75 Wall Mount [Art. 7045B]This wall mount complies to the VESA 75 standard, and fits to all respective monitors (75 mm pattern). The two part mount has a bearing capacity of 20 kg. It suits CA-MOS 12" and 15" TFT LCD monitors.
