Innovations


A mobile glass partition wall is a glass separator wall that is easy to move (page 5).

Glass partition walls from ATTACA are the result of years of experience and product

innovation. All details are focused on convenience, sustainable use and quality.

WHAT IS A MOBILE GLASS PARTITION WALL?

Depending on the desired sound insulation or appearance, you can choose from many different types of glass

partition walls (pages 6 and 7). Ranging from simple glass partition walls with single-glazed glass and minimal sound

insulation, to ingenious double-glazed (smart) glass partition walls with sound insulation and aesthetics being the

most important features.

Each glass partition wall type can be built according to your personal preferences using a variety of building blocks,

including a variety of entrance and exit options (page 8, 9 and 10). The individual panels boast several stowage

options in niches or cupboards (page 11).

Pages 12 and 13 provide some clear, practical arrangements. G90, P90gl and P110gl types have telescopic seals at the

top and bottom for excellent soundproofing and to firmly secure the panels. These can be operated both manually

and electrically (pages 14 and 15).

Ball bearing wheel sets run smoothly on an aluminium rail in the ceiling and ensure optimal sliding movement

(page 16 and 17). The rail type depends on the weight and model (page 18). The fastening of the rail depends on the

structural situation (page 19).

The excellent quality of the operating mechanisms, the aluminium alloys and the tracks, wheeled trolleys,

hinges and locks result in high convenience for the users. Furthermore, ATTACA’s international orientation

G90The ATTACA G90 is a sound-insulating double-glazed glass partition wall. The panels consist of an aluminium frame with hidden sealing mechanisms. The individual glass plates have a frame printed on them so the mechanics are beautifully concealed. *

P90gl / P110glThe ATTACA P90gl/P110gl is a sound-insulated mobile panel wall with extra-large glass openings. *

THE MANUALLY-OPERATED MECHANISMThe mechanism ensures the telescopic top and bottom seals can be easily rotated in and out of position. The fibre-reinforced gearboxes and strong springs ensure a constant pressure of >750 N with a variable stroke. Due to the compact design, the glass frames remain very slender.

FASTENING METHOD AND CEILING JOINTSThe way the track systems are attached plays an essential role in successful wall functioning. A number of examples of fastening methods and possible ceiling joints are shown below.

Track type R1 has been used in these examples, however the other track types can also be used in these

configurations, which are no more than a small selection from the total range of possibilities.

Soundproofing The sound insulation values depend on the weight,

flexibility, damping, absorption and seals

of the gaps. The wall structure is therefore

determined to meet the customer’s specifications.

Hereby, it is possible to meet almost any desired result.

- = visual divider (0-20 dB)

0 = some degree damping (36-39 dB)

+ = reasonable damping (40-44 dB)

++ = good damping (45-49 dB)

+++ = Best possible achievable result (50-53 dB)

As a rule of thumb, 46 dB is considered to be adequate

for meetings.
