A highly durable mirrorNEW GENERATION MIRROR

New Generation Mirror (MNG), a copper-free and corrosion resistant mirror, is part of the family of ecological mirrors developed and patented by AGC Glass Europe. Today, our New Generation Mirror are produced in Asia to offer flexibility delivery lead time. The MNG range includes clear mirror (Dantalux and MirroTAG) and tinted mirror (Decomirror) in various thicknesses and large stock size dimensions.

Ecological manufacturing processAGC, a market leader in mirror technology, has continuously sought to make mirrors ever more environmentally friendly at all stages of their life cycle, from manufacturing and processing right through to end-of-life recycling.

With New Generation Mirror, the use of copper had been eliminated from the production process and lead content in two coats of paint protecting the silver coating had been reduced significantly.

New Generation Mirror (MNG) stands out for its:• copper-free metal coatings• low lead* protective paints• ability to resist chemical damage• resistance to corrosion * 5% lead present

Proper design (i.e. framing etc) installation and handling methods can reduce deterioration and prolong lifespan of mirrors. For SAFE enhanced versions, a polypropylene film is applied to the back of the mirror as a safety measure. In case of glass breakage, the fragments adhere to the plastic film and do not break up, preventing injury.

When impacted on the glass side, the Safe coating complies with AS/NZS 2208:1996 (Grade A safety) norms.* For 3mm mirrors, it is supplied with 1 layer of paint coat.+ Please consult our sales representative for other mirror dimensions.
