September/2003 - September/ 2004 > Data Architect - Fidelity Mortgage Originations Focus: Developed a modeling process with Business Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop a Business Logical Model to support reporting and analysis of Mortgage Originations data for existing Mortgage Servicing Software Clients. This process had never been done at Fidelity and was well received by Business SMEs. This model will provide the foundation for augmentations to existing software suite due to re-architecture using RUP Methodology December/2002 - September/2003 > Business Intelligence Assessment Analyst  

1. For Triad Guaranty Insurance Corporation: Reporting study, analysis and recommendations for a data warehousing solution to support Risk Management. This was in support of mitigating loss based on probability of default for mortgages requiring mortgage insurance.

  2. For Royal and Sun Alliance: Assessed and provided recommendations on

methodology to be used facilitate sound data design and data integrity for looking at risk exposure based on location to assess the viability of booking insurance policies.

 3.   For NISH: Provided analytical support for an assessment for the development of a

reporting environment, including executive interviews, analysis of the existing systems, and formulation of a recommendation for a solution.

 4. For GMAC Mortgage division, in support of the Mortgage Acquisition process,

assessed the existing reporting environment to scope the level of effort for a data warehousing project. This included development of an initial Logical Data Model for Multi-dimensional use, as well as mentoring client in the project planning process.

  February/2000 - November/2002 > Independent Consultant                                 1. For Fannie Mae’s e-Business Mortgage Origination division, managed, mentored,

and collaborated in design of the data warehouse, including development of conceptual and logical data models for incorporation of disparate concepts of parties, customers, and customer behavior

2. For New Jersey Medicaid: Provided Data Modeling support for a data warehouse including design and development of a data model to support a very large database (VLDB) for optimal performance in an Oracle environment. In addition, this involved the design and development of specifications for extract, transform, and load developers and report developers 

3. For Johnson Controls: Provided Business Analysis support, including review of vision, mission, goals and objectives with a focus on development of an enterprise data architecture to encompass e-commerce/e-business, operational systems integration, decision support systems, data warehousing, etc. This included

development of cross-functional flows, assessment of reporting needs, performing, quality checks on work done to date, and development of Project Plan for follow-on work.

relationship marketing and management Software product for retail and financial service institutions, including database design, development, capture of business rules data item associations/maps and work with application developers to support product release cycle

 

October/1997 - January/1999 > Senior Data Architect - BankBoston Focus: Data architecture for an effort that incorporated legacy data from disparate

sources to a data warehouse and data mart to support the Sales and Marketing department, including facilitated design sessions, analysis of legacy data, managing modeling efforts using Cayenne, as well as, working with business users and developers to facilitate problem resolution and development efforts. The data mart functionality emphasis was on household and customer relationship management and marketing
