PERSONAL CARE KITS FOR

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF

Today is the last day to make a donation which will be

used to purchase the supplies required in Personal Care

Kits for Lutheran World Relief. Please make your check

payable to Memorial Lutheran and either write "Personal

Care Kits" in the memo line or enclose your check in an

envelope by the display in the Welcome Center. Put the

check or envelope in the offering plate, hand it to Deb

Plautz, or put it on the desk of Jody the church

secretary. The grateful recipients thank you for your

generous donations!

The new owners of

Ministries old

building on 5th and

Katy/Ft. Bend Rd.

moved in on Feb.

20. They have given the raised bed garden in the back of

the building over to KCM again. On March 1, members

from Kingsland Baptist readied and planted the

beds. Now we need people to tend and harvest them. If

you are interested, please talk to Deb Plautz or contact

her at 281-395-4681, bobplautz1@aol.com. KCM's

client families greatly appreciate the fresh organic

produce that's grown in this garden.

PRESCHOOL FUND

RAISER NEEDS YOUR

HELP

Memorial Lutheran Preschool students would greatly

appreciate contributions from congregation members for

the silent auction during our Spring Fling fund raiser on

Thursday, April 9, at Smith Ranch. Possible items

include your services, craft items, merchandise, tickets

to the movies, theater or sporting events, gift certificates

to a store or restaurant, etc. Please give the item(s) to

either Linda Stahmer, Lori in the preschool office, or

Deb Plautz by Sunday, April 5. Proceeds will be used

for new playground equipment. We thank you in

advance for your generous support! Stay tuned for our

infamous baskets this year. They will be on display in

the Welcome Center Sunday, March 29, and $1 tickets

can be purchased on Sunday, April 5. Winners will be

drawn and announced April 9.
