Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are often promoted for their energy saving efficiency and long life characteristics;

and while these are true, our manufacturer has integrated Cree and Nichia high

power LED’s into a module design capable to easily convert any size shoebox

area lighting fixture from Metal Halide or Mercury Vapor to a MKT Electrical Supply LED. Our shoebox retrofit is PROVEN, RELIABLE, AWARD WINNING and

AFFORDABLE. Using our patented heat spreading technology and patent

pending dual driver technology, combined with our advanced designs, enables

us to provide the BEST shoebox retrofit in the marketplace.

Lumen Output versus Customer Expectations

Having designed LED streetlights for 10 years and retrofitting outdoor shoebox lighting for 5 years, our team

has learned customers expect 20%-25% more lighting illumination from the LED upgrade compared to their

existing fixture and also expect to achieve savings of 70% or more from this LED conversion. This is why we

develop a lumen map from existing Metal Halide or Mercury Vapor outdoor lighting and develop a plan for

achieving 25% higher lumen output than the original lighting in place.
