As part of the Vista Solution™, the VistaCenter™ application allows clinicians to monitor vital signs for multiple patients via a web browser. VistaCenter can generate notifications to alert clinicians when vital signs cross a clinician-set threshold, as measured by the patient’s wearable VitalPatch® biosensor.

What are the parts of the Vista Solution?VitalPatch biosensor (Patch) — Wireless, adhesive, disposable device worn on the patient’s chest that records and transmits vital sign data.

VistaPoint — Application for clinician to apply, connect and disconnect VitalPatch biosensors, and to monitor vital sign data locally.

VistaCenter — Application for clinician to monitor vital sign data from VitalPatch biosensors on multiple patients.

VitalCloud — Vital sign data are stored in the cloud.

Relay Device — Hardware that runs the VistaPoint application. The relay receives data from the VitalPatch biosensor and uploads it to the VitalCloud. The relay can be either a VistaHub device or a portable VistaTablet.

Using the Dashboard ViewAfter you log in, VistaCenter opens and displays a Dashboard View with Patient Tiles and a Menu Bar. Each tile represents a patient. See the next page for a description of tile features.

• Use the View Theater menu to select a group of patients to view.

• Click the Show Patients buttons to focus on patients of interest.

• Use the Sort By menu to change the display order.

• Clicking a patient tile displays a Detail and Notification View.

• Scroll to view patients that are off the screen.

How Does the Vista Solution Work? The VitalPatch biosensor transmits patient vital sign data to a relay device (VistaHub or VistaTablet) in the patient’s room or in the patient’s home. The relay device runs the VistaPoint™ application that uploads vital sign data to VitalCloud, where VistaCenter can access it.

VitalPatch Biosensor CompatibilityVistaCenter 1.0 is only compatible with VitalPatch 1.0 (firmware 1.0.4.x and earlier). It is not compatible with VitalPatch 2.0 (firmware 3.0.0.0 and later). Refer to the firmware version (FW#) printed on the biosensor pouch.

To Monitor a Patient1. Apply the VitalPatch biosensor to the patient and power it

on. Refer to IFU-02, VitalPatch Instructions for Use.

2. Use the VistaPoint application in the patient’s room to pair the VitalPatch biosensor with the relay device. Refer to IFU-05, VistaPoint Instructions for Use.

3. Use the VistaCenter application to see the patient’s vital signs. Refer to IFU-04, VistaCenter Instructions for Use.

To Log In to VistaCenterContact your administrator to obtain a username, password and URL for VistaCenter. Open a browser and enter the VistaCenter URL. Enter username and password when prompted.

When you are finished using VistaCenter, log out by selecting Logout from the Settings menu. Close the browser.

Viewing Historical DataTo view historical data for a VitalPatch biosensor:

1. From the Dashboard View, select a patient tile. The Detail and Notification View opens. Select the Historical Data tab.

2. Under Patch, select a VitalPatch biosensor to view. The current patch is selected by default.

3. Under Vital Sign/Data Channel, select a vital sign or data channel to view.

4. Select a Date, a Start Time and an End Time (End Time not available for ECG). Optionally, you can drag or resize the slider and use the M and M buttons to scroll to the next or previous time frame.

The plot updates automatically as you change the input fields. Hover the mouse on the plot to see details. Click the XX button to expand and collapse the view. If part of the plot is highlighted in yellow, that indicates the vital sign crossed a notification threshold.

Alternatively, you can access Historical Data by clicking a heart rate (HR) or respiration rate (RR) notification in the Notification View. VistaCenter will automatically display a plot of the notification period.
