Contacting Your Clubs
Hopefully by now you have contacted your clubs by sending your newsletter and making phone calls. Remember, however, that time !ies and the school year will start before you know it. Contact club presidents throughout the summer. Say hello, ask them how they are spending their vacation, and make preliminary plans for fall rallys or projects. Volunteer at a local organization with them. If visiting isn’t feasible, then make phone calls, !nd them on Facebook, or email!
Treasurer Pro Tip: Keep all important contacts, addresses,
and information on hand. Organize them in a directory and put them in your
binder so they will always be on hand!
Officer Information
Summer!
Send all club officer information from your home club and other clubs in your division to Shanna. List all the
officers and their emails. This is EXTREMELY important because having direct connection with
club officers is how we can spread information from the
district to local clubs. Remember: LTGs are the link
between the district and clubs!
Paying Dues
MO-ARK | April 2013
The dues paying process can seem very hectic and tricky. While more details about paying dues will be
provided at the summer board meeting, there are a few important things to keep in mind and remind your clubs
as you contact them this summer.
Getting officer information NOW is important that way you can call club treasurers or presidents come this fall
when dues are to be paid. Dues are typically paid in coordination with the club secretary, treasurer, and sponsor.
How much and how?
Dues for the Missouri-Arkansas district are $13 per member. Dues
are paid online via the Membership Update Center. This new system allows clubs to add
and delete members and pay dues all year.
