Mission Trail Mustangs is a car club formed in 1999 by Mustang and Ford enthusiasts who share a common

interest in Mustangs of all Vintages and other significant Ford Motor Company products. We invite the owners

of Mustangs, Shelby’s, Cobras, Fairlanes, Torino’s, Galaxies, Cougars, Falcons, Comets, Broncos and all other

Ford marques to come to one of our meetings and join in the camaraderie and good fellowship. Our club is

interested in providing a fun and participative environment for owners to make new friends, learn new things

and generally share their love of the Blue Oval breed.

Comments from the Club President

Wow, this year is moving forward very fast. I look forward to the remaining months ahead, with the car shows, road trips, meetings and just getting together, etc………. At this point in time we’ve had good participation by club members in the scheduled club events for 2014. We should continue to focus on road trip safety, contact list, towing information and police/highway patrol contacts as necessary to insure we all get to where we are going and arriving home safely after a fun road trip. As the year moves forward we will be having many opportunities to get together as a group to have fun, do club business and most of all enjoy each other.

As always the challenges as we move forward in 2014. Identify ways to maintain our current membership. Identify ways to increase the club membership. Identify new and exciting events for club member participation. This is just a few ideas, I’m sure there are many more that we can identify and work on together in 2014 to make the club an attractive Car Club to encourage others to join.

Would you like to attend the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum, Saturday at the Movies!?

June 14th @ 10:00am

We have been invited to join the Mission Trail V8 Club

at the Niles Theatre.

There is another event going on in Niles that morning (Steam Train show), so we need to

arrive pretty early to ensure parking. I’m suggesting no later than 9:15.

The show lasts for approximately 2 hours, and we will drive to the Black Bear Diner afterwards

for lunch. Reservations are for 12:30pm.
