Mission Statement ‘The Sixth’is a vibrant and informative school magazine that will be fun and interesting, while also giving information about important school issues. It will give you vital tips on how to survive sixth form, while being creative and entertaining. This magazine's main goal is to provide my audience with helpful information that will help them throughout their life in sixth form. I will have relevant school news in our issues, while also keeping it light-hearted. My aim for this magazine is for it to be like a guide to the students, while keeping them entertained. This is because I aim to have a lasting effect on my audience, so they will keep reading our magazine. I believe in creating a magazine that will help my audience to keep up with sixth form life, but will allow them to have an escape from the stresses of school. The magazine will be distributed monthly. I will ensure that each student gets a copy by giving each form tutor a box of the magazines to hand out during form time. Then, if a student was absent during form, or has misplaced theirs, there will be a stand in the common room where they can pick up another copy. Additionally, there will be copies available in the library. This ensures that my magazine is very accessible to my audience. I promise to deliver to my target audience a great, informative magazine that will be of assistance to them during their time at sixth form, and will also give them guidance on the next steps to take after sixth form. Mission Statement

‘The Sixth’is a vibrant and informative school magazine that will be fun and interesting, while also giving information about important school issues.

I also promise to make the magazine humorous and enjoyable. One of my main aims is to make the magazine feel like a friend to my audience that they can turn to whenever they need advice, or even just a fun read!

The topics that will feature in the magazine are topics that are essential to sixth form life. For example tips on time management, revision advice and where to get the best driving lessons.

The styles of article that will feature in my magazine are main articles, reviews, picture articles, interviews and puzzles/quizzes.

My magazine will benefit the TA by guiding them through their sixth form life, but it could also provide a form of escapism after a long, stressful day at school. It could

also be a means of social interaction as you could talk to your friends about the magazine and its exciting, interesting content.
