Music Under the Stars welcomes picnic dining. Coffee and desserts are available for purchase at the concert, but there are no other food or beverage sales onsite.

Concert gates open at 5:30 and music ends at 9:30 p.m. Beat the rush and meet your group early for appetizers in charming San Juan Capistrano, or plan your destination for wine, entertainment or accommodations following the concert. Music Under the Stars hosts a silent auction and opportunity drawing at each concert in support of preservation and education programs at Mission San Juan Capistrano, historic California Landmark #200. Show the support of your business by donating a package or gift to be won at one or up to all five concerts. We are proud to recognize supporting businesses to a sold out audience of 1,500 at each concert from stage, on screen and in print.

Important Concert Information

Gates: Gates open at 5:30 p.m. on concert evenings. There are TWO gates open for entrance to the concerts: the Gate House on Ortega Highway, the East Gate on El Camino Real. You may enter at either of these gates. Will Call is located at the Gate House. For safest wheelchair accessibility, please enter through the Gate House.

Concert Schedule: Music begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. There is an opening act and a headlining act at each concert. There is a scheduled intermission from 8:15 – 8:30 to allow for a break for the band, community and sponsor recognitions on stage and announcement of Opportunity Drawing and Silent Auction winners.

Arriving and Parking: The Mission is located at 26801 Ortega Highway. There is street parking and public parking lots around the Mission that are free of charge.

Always plan for a safe ride home. Use Uber to get to and from the concert and to avoid traffic and parking in the downtown.

PROHIBITED: Relocating Tables - Adding chairs to tables - Lawn chairs in reserved table areas - Tables larger than 2’ x 2’ x 2’ - Umbrellas - Tiki torches - Grills

Tickets: Ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be replaced, refunded or exchanged. (Sorry, no exceptions).

Policy If you are Unable to Attend: If you are unable to attend the event or to use your tickets, consider: 1) gifting your tickets to a friend, client or colleague; 2) donating your tickets to a charitable organization for silent auction use; or 3) donating your tickets back to Mission San Juan Capistrano for fundraising purposes. You may receive a donation receipt to present to your tax preparer. Tickets donated back to the Mission must be received prior to the event in order to receive a donation receipt.

Policy Regarding Event Cancellation: Should there be conditions related to weather, rain, emergency or other conditions beyond control of Mission staff that should necessitate cancellation of the event, tickets will not be refunded. Ticket purchasers may receive a donation receipt for the amount of their ticket purchase, less the applicable portion of the event expenses,that they may present to their tax preparer.
